Being Cousins' sponsor on EFH, I collected all the highlights i had on him and posted it on my supporter thread (http://www.eaglesflyinghigh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9736).

So here it is:

Thoughts? I know the song doesn't end too well, but I just couldn't find 3 good minutes of footage.

You couldn't find 3 good minutes of Benny footage ?

Seriously though, what's needed is a decent library of quality clips for people to make their own montages from.

I realise that YouTube (sux!) is the popular internet medium and the woeful MS Movie-Maker is the tool of choice, but that combination has to be the worst going around.

If you guys are prepared to spend all those hours making montages, let's start with some original, albeit stolen () footage, pool it, then do a class job.

Even if it turns out crap, then you can still put it on YouTube, no-one will know the difference :)

Kilaw, please don't misunderstand me here. It was good stuff, but there is so much starting from scratch and re-inventing the wheel going on with vids, that it just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm too lazy, got some proffessional movie maker, but with that comes some degree of extra difficulty.

I don't have a lot of games, so I gotta take my crap from other videos, it sucks but there's nothing I could do. Maybe if I spent an extra 2 hours on this, it would be 3 minutes long and look much better.

I've done a few videos in my time, with adobe-premiere pro. But i don't have any footage of west coast on my comp. So personally I think he's done a great job to actually collate this stuff. The only way you could really put together a proper video is to download the whole games online, and they are often 2gigs each. So, trying to get 3 minutes worth of video on one player, becomes very hard. Unless you used the 2005 highlight real ;).

But did you see benny at some of those stoppages. Wow, the guy was off like a rocket. I can't wait to see him come back. I think i'm going to cry. I think we underestimate the impact that he will have. Only because we have not seen him play for so long! Expect instant improvement from the whole side when benny gets back. :D

best way to get footage is to get a tv tuner card for you computer......they are so cheap nowadays....you can get one for less than 100 bucks if you look around.

I recommend VideoRedo as the easiest and fastest to use program to edit digital tv footage.

Then you can use your moviemaker software to add in the music if that is your thing.

Each game can be up to 12 gigs in Standard definition Tv if you include all the pregame and half time stuff....so a big harddrive is necessary

ps: I agree youtube sux arse badly.....but I only use it because everyone else seems to be using it.....and noone has really complaint.....yet... >,>

Thanks for those comments guys.

I wasn't about being critical of anyone's efforts, I was only trying to make it easier for all, by exchanging info on the subject AND source videos.

Okay, but after you've done that you can convert those 12Gigs, without loss of quality, to an avi of about 1 Gig max.

But for now I'll shut up about it and actually do something, and then make it available via torrents or something :)
