Take a look at the exposure that we are recieving.
The amount of opposition fans posting and the others just scrolling through is amazing.
The board with our title on it really makes us standout.
Top work Gets! and to a lesser extent ST and to everyone in general. The more interest we pick up the better.
Now all we need is to slowly expand into the bay beneath us.

We may get a little more exposure come heritage round.
We may get a plug -- perhaps a live plug -- from Jars on SEN, maybe a short appearance by Ben Hart!!!
Spoke to both men this arvo at the NAFC aftermatch and both were very interested in taking a look at our group.

Imagine the grannies seeing Benny or Jars there with us.
Im sure that would give us some more red coat leniency...

Theyd probably ask the bald one to put a hat on, because the reflection was ruining their ability to see the boundary line.

Would you guys be nice enough to let someone with red hair into Bay 114?

I was thinking we should invite one of the advertiser puff piece writers to join us for a match and maybe do an interview.
In today's paper I noticed there was a brief article about how much a character in Shrek 3 looks like James Hird - surely we're more newsworthy than that. It would be a good way of getting the message out about what we're hoping to achieve, and perhaps readers will listen out for certain chants we start and hopefully join in and perhaps even wander over.
If we got the clubs okay and asked them what they'd like us to convey, then I'm sure it would be a worthwhile exercise.

I can expose myself next time I'm over, if that's the sort of exposure you're talking about.
Sorry, I've been thinking that joke as soon as I first read this thread and I finally pulled the trigger. :p

Channel 10 ran a 'Wheres Warren' heading during the Port/Carlton game. I was unimpressed.
''hi ken hi graham, listen Ive just come back to live in Adelaide from perth and I have been to the last few games and I want to know who the group of fans chanting over by bay 114 are?

If it's a hotmail account then Graham won't even consider it as he thinks that he can't really tell who it is from, they could just be pretending to be someone else. It's not like anyone could ring up from a phone and give a false name could they Graham? :p

Leon used to ring up Fatty Francis as a gentleman called Venn. Hence the reference to using fake names

Conflicting emotions... they're a pair of tools, but 5AA is all about AFL which incidentally is also a sh*tter because they have no commitment to SANFL.
Screw 'em. Because people who hate them will love us!

5AA don't need to be on our side. We just need to be mentioned on talk back and that'll reach a wide audience.

I have been thinking about making a little phone call for a while now - but it is probably best to do it next week, closer to game time, as that way it is fresh in people's minds.

Would it even be worth trying to manipulate a debate on 5AA? Have one person call up 5AA unhappy with the group, but then have a bunch of us ring up expressing satisfaction. A couple can say they sit nearby and love what Bay 114 are doing, a couple can say that they are part of the group and then put our side of the story across. But maybe a bit of white noise is what we need to drum up some interest.

No way - we don't want to start anything like this. We would just want to get across all the positives and that we are there to assist and support the club as all supporters should be doing. You don't want to open that door for others to call up and be negative. That is too easy for most people these days.
See our board for proof of this. If the team loses there are always a lot more posts and threads. People like to whinge more than they like to discuss the good things.
But we and I would presume the club want it to be about the good news story only and to help improve the support at the ground.

The only reason i had considered ringing 5aa on this was to give the club a plug for being such champions throughout this whole thing.
I dont think we need to make any self serving calls to talk ourselves up.
