Personally would like to see Pris come into the team for a run. Stiff to have been playing the VFL last few rounds.
Selwood's been great this year but another VFL game under his belt and a week off will set him up for a killer second half free from the dreaded first year burn out.

Selwood. Absolute stand out in the 2nds.
Selwood, although I'd like to see both get a game

Selwood, so he can towel up his brother.

My vote's with Lumberjack, he's ahead of Pris in the pecking order, although Pris is unlucky not to be getting a game at this point

Selwood tore it up last week, doesnt send a great message that if you play a blinder and someone who is vying for the same position doesnt gets picked ahead of you.

Selwood, so he can towel up his brother.
My Oath play him on his brother they would know alot about each other what leg they kick with what way there most likely to turn but brothers seem to love getting into each others head.

Selwood is the better of the 2 I have no doubt but I would love to see Prismal get a game, I just would like to see another midfielder besides Gaz deliver spot on passes to our leading forwards, I think it will give Nathan a better go for a week as well instead of the Joel Corey/Kane Tenance helicopter passing into the forward line.
I believe the lions game is a chance for one of the "backup midfielders" to get their share of the big time

I prefer "Timber Merchant".

Agree re-Selwood,lose nothing in hardness at the ball, although Prismall does give more goalkicking potential.

Hey gang - long time listener, first time caller.
Hard to differentiate between these two kids as both will be standout players in the long term and both have done enough to deserve a recall. The only point I can add to the debate is that I am yet to see Selwood panic under pressure or stuff up a possession. This is rare for young onballers but rarer still for those in the blue and white hoops. Let us hope it is contagious.

You could hit young selwood with a cricket bat and a) he would not cough the nut up and b) will get back up. And he's only 18..
What about Josh?
I reckon Prismall will come in for Tenace.

What about Josh?
What about him? I saw the first half of the Vfl last week and as far as I'm concerned saw nothing to warrant promotion. He kicked badly was indecisive and struggled to get into the game.

Odds are that T. Selwood (one of our best taggers) will be running with Bartel (especially with the predicted weather conditions) - won't go anywhere near Joel if he plays

I prefer "Timber Merchant".
That's the politically correct term these days is it?
Probably trying to get away from the whole Monty Python 'Lumberjack song' humiliation the industry went through some years ago.... :D

I'd like to see Prismall get a run, although Selwood has been excellent this year i think Prismall has something to prove.
It is a great situation to be in that you have to chose between two great young players in Selwood and Prismall for a spot in the side.
Let us hope the team stays near injury free, although there are many replacements if the dreaded happens.
