Give us one finals series, then if we start the next season on fire, just watch us overtake the Pies as the powerhouse team in the AFL . We will average 60,000 a game and break records. It's gonna be awesome in the next 2 years with Richmond, Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon in the top 8 regularly. Crowds will be huge and records will be smashed :thumbsu:

Don't all reply at once

great crowds now but you watch everyone squawking about how we've jumped on the bandwagon when we are winning, chumps jump on and off. True Tigers stay through thick and thin, I haven't personally seen a live richmond win sice roos at the dome last year, but never thought about not going, this is when my team needs me most! When we become a top 4 sides it will be a blockbuster every second week.
:) :) :)

surely will. It won't take 1 finals series to win everyone back but 2 consecutive finals series will convince most of those closet supporters. We'll probably get 40,000 against teams like Freo at the G once we are doing very well

If richmond start winning games (which is bound to happen sooner or later) watch the people jump on the tigers bandwagon, the 30,000 members will shoot up to 40,000 within a couple of years. Richmond are the kinda team that people love to hate, but at the same time, love to see win.
Does anyone at all know any stats of members for collingwood before and after their grand final appearances? There seems to be a lot more magpie fans these days

the pies have had 10 times more success than us the last 20 years. Played in 3 grand finals and made the finals probably half those years. The AFL need the Tiges on fire. Biggest supporter base and by far the loudest

I must apologise, I had a look at the crowd figures and I forgot a couple of crowds figures. The average crowd is 42,000. Not 43,000

I think we should comfortably get over 40,000 at some point. Essendon has similar figures to the pies

Thanks heaps Ricardo!
Thats a pretty big boost for two grand finals. Richmond are just under what collingwood were in 2001, bring on some solid performance over the next few years, tigers will easily hit 40,000+
