These are probably going to be the hardest ones all year.
A lot of guys are going to be very stiff to miss.
Why are we even voting on the ROTY?

POTY:
5 - Thompson (great all match, cool under pressure)
4 - Bock (was great also, one of his best, 4 goals and a lot of marks, presented all night)
3 - Mattner (first quarter was tremendous, tackling was excellent, plays better when we play attacking footy)
2 - Bassett (would've given him more but I thought the three above were excellent, beaten a couple of times but was great also)
1 - Welsh (five goals, four in the last term when it didn't matter but presented and pressured the oppoisition all night)
BTM
3 - Bassett
2 - Massie (just missed on the votes, played well all night)
1 - Rutten (kept anyone he played on quiet, conceded no goals)
ROTY
2 - Knights
1 - Griffen (who the hell counts?)

POTY
5 Thompson (Again great in clearance footy)
4 Bassett (just another game for Bassett)
3 Mattner (oh but apparently he's been found out and is going backwards....pity he makes an impact wherever he is...reads the ball well enough to even manage to crumb a goal tonight)
2 Welsh (awesome last term as well as good contest)
1 Bock (nice haul got free well and kicked true)
BTM
Ricciuto
Rutten
Van Berlo (Was awesome early setup plenty of goals disagree that he is lost down forward)
ROTY
2 Knights (could stand to tackle harder those last couple assists were great)
1 Griffin (massive kick this lad has, contests well just needs some more decision making experience in go to the square over CHF)
Johncock would slot in if there was room
Jericho played fair tonight, made some late hand pass errors but tackled well and made a goal assist

Very, very impressed with his ruckwork tonight. :thumbsu: Some of his taps went straight down the throat of our mifielders. 14 hitouts tonight, to go with 7 possessions. Back to his best.

5.Thompson - took on the responsibility of leading the way in the midfield in Goody's absence in fine style. If he maintains his current form and attitutude a yellow jacket and the captaincy awaits him. :thumbsu:
2. Bock - enjoyed the freedpm of being the lead up forward with K-Mac having to be the contesting chopping block. Nice return to form tonight.
3. Johncock - saved us time and time again and started the run from the backlines along with Macca, our quarterback. Sorry folks, Stiffy is an A1defender and we need him there, not on the ball.
2. Van Berlo - the great man is really starting to live up to the hype this year. Along with Thommo took on the extra load in Goody's absence and this pair will be our leaders in the years to come IMO. :thumbsu:
1. Doughty - much maligned at times, Dogga played a great link man role and set up many plays with his running and usage of the ball. Good game.
Very very unlucky were Mattner, Shirley, Bassett, Stevens, Huddo and Welsh.
Best Team Man
3. Mattner - worked his arse off all night and was classic Mattner with his hard work ethic, chasing, tackling, spoiling, going for runs, along with the occasional stuff-up.
2. Hudson - liked his ruck work, liked his follow up when the ball hit the groud, just like his attitude all round. Great work ethic.
1. Stevens - his versatility has been very handy this year - played well early in the year up forward and had a damn good game tonight in defence. Who would have thought it at the beginning of last year after the Eagles game.
Rookie
2. Knights - useful game capped off with a fine flying of the flag. Well done young lad. :thumbsu:
1. Griffin - his ruckwork was excellent tonight. He's an A-grader.

lol, exactly what I saw too. Was great all night, but in that last term when he handballed it straight to a Kangaroos player, he was determined to get it back. Tackled at least four times, and it was great to see even when the game was over.

Great, is probably a stretch, but I think he had the second most posessions for the boys, and was like a hoover back there. But going by the votes, I'm on my lonesome.

Was interested to see that Hudson only had 12% hit outs to advantage (2 out of 17), whereas Griffin has 29% hit outs to advantage (4 out of 14). As a team we only managed 17% to advantage compared to the 33% that the Kangaroos achieved (12 out of 39).
