we should also just remember that scraping into the finals isn't enough, unless we are building a team with a gameplan and structure that can withstand high pressure finals games then we are wasting our time.....so much focus is placed onto making the 8 but unless you have a genuine shot once you're there it equates to nothing. The type of football freo is playing at the momentcan't even stand up to decent teams in the home and away season and unless dramatic changes happen then i seriously doubt that it will be good enough if we were to scrape into the finals. Optimism is awsome.......but i'm pissed off, i want to see sweeping changes to the team, the structure and the gameplan. Make you're move Connolly or step aside and let someone else.

yeah and i remember when melbourne won 11 out of 12 last year, even if that did happen again or some miraculous streak, that is no excuse for the season up to now.

neither is it for you guys, with your list you shouldnt have to rely on winning streaks, you should be there week in and week out.

as said above, someone needs to make a decision at the club and soon or else let mark harvey step in and put his balls on the line.

You didnt get far enough in the finals to put this theory to the test. But dont confuse yourself with a fellow west oz team that has nothing left to proove in 2006. We are talking freo, and the fact that once again, they have the players, but are underperforming... ;)

People need to stop banking on a big winning streak. It probably wont happen.

On our current form we would be lucky when we win one game, let alone 9 in a row.

Best case scenario: We scrap into the 8 - and dont even get a home game for the elimination final. Thats what we are looking at here.

I think things are going to get ugly down at FFC unfourtunately.
