I wont post any spoilers.

Average. Seemed very rushed and the fight scenes involving the silver surfer and the rest were shown in previews and game ads (PS2 etc).

couldve done more with the silver surfer. reasons as to his existence and background were glossed over (excuse the pun :D). i found that as with spiderman 3 the villains weren't explored in enough detail.

julian mcmahon as dr doom doesnt quite hit the mark im afraid.

the fantastic 4 were ok. j alba nude but all the good bits hidden was one of the more amusing parts.

PN gives it 6/10

Haven't seen the second one yet, but my expectations are very low. I wasn't a big fan of the first one. It was pretty damn lightweight all things considered, once you've seen it, you instantly forget about it.
The only good thing in the first one was the characterisation of The Thing and the Human Torch. Those two were nailed perfectly.

Julian McMahon as Doc Doom doesn't work at all. Doom's supposed to be an evil super genius, but McMahon portrays him as a rich twat.

Went to see a friend today about our Transformers schedule for the coming week. He's a bit of a comic book man and mentioned FF4, didn't understand a word he said after that, going on about this character and that, and what was missing. I think the underlying point was - rubbish.
