Any other Calvin & Hobbes fans here.
Have been re-reading all my collected C&H books while on holidays and they're still just as amazing as when they first came out.
No other comic has the ability to remind you exactly of the emotions you felt as a child and the artwork is just brilliant.
Gotta love Calvin's imaginary characters like Spaceman Spiff and Tracer Bullet as well. :D
The characters are just so perfectly realised and unlike Garfield's Jim "Sellout" David, Waterson refused to allow his characters to be merchandised until no integrity remained.
It was never afraid to break out the emotional stuff either (anyone remembers the story arc with the dying raccoon will know what I mean).
So here's cheers to Calvin & Hobbes, the best comic strip ever!
