Just wondering who likes Floyd here and what song they like the best.
Mine would have to be "young Lust" from the Wall album for its aggression in the solo, it gets me off, turn it up loud and beat that guitar into submission!!!!!!
Another classic is the short version of Crazy Diamond...my 89yo Mother in law thinks its the greatest piece of music she has ever heard and she taught music for 60 years...
whats yours and why???

"Not now John" off "The Final Cut" album.
Never got to know the name of it or the album, cause i was really drunk at the time and it was a really trippy song, with heaps of computer type sounds - kinda sounded like working in a mechanic shop.
Anyone know the one im talking about???

Love Pink Floyd. Own their best of, which is a magnificent album.
Personal favorite is Wish You Were Here, which means a lot to me personally. Time is probably my other favorite.

Floyd fans, I've had a hard time choosing out of 2 Pink Floyd DVD's, Pink Floyd; The Wall or Roger Waters:In The Flesh - Live.
Can anyone tell me what they think is the better DVD from the Pink Floyd fans' pov?

Echoes for me too, but I prefer the studio version from Meddle.
... and "one of these days" also from Meddle is another favourite.

I love the groove bit in Echoes. It's a bit heavier on Pompeii, both styles work really well though! Dave's guiter "theatrics" are wicked.
Comfortably Numb, Time, The Great Gig In The Sky, and I like old Syd Barrett solo stuff....not really Floyd though....
On The Turning Away for me.
Shine on you Crazy diamond, Great Gig in the Sky.
But really there were two great albums in Dark Side of the Moon my personal favourite and The Wall. Which was waters great masterpiece.
The final cut and wish you were here were also great album.
