Remember when the bullies beat essendon towards the end of 2000 and no-one would ever in thier wildest dreams would have picked it.
Well punters, i had a feeling (similar to the one I have now) that the bullies would get up. I went down the tab and put 6 bucks on the bullies to win between 9 and 13 points. They won by 11 and i collected $160.
Im tipping an upset today. Eagles by 16 points.
if youre right then you will become my idol!!! :)

In the end the difference between the 2 sides that day apart from the doggies methods was there precision.
They will always be dangerous to top sides because of there pin point accuracy in the field of play.
There a running side with a top notch midfield that hits its targets time and time again. (Yes I am aware of the irony of that comment after last nights game)
Eagles do not have these skills, nor are the lions as weak in the middle as the dons.
The only thing in your favour is the fact that its at your home ground.
All your guns can be covered with minimal effort, wilson will have either 1 or even both of the premire backman in the league on him, leptich and or Micheal.
While they have so many guns all over the ground you simply cant cover them all.

How constructive.
But yes if you had a midfield to remotely challenge the lions or some key position players of calibre,well then maybe ou might have a hope in hell.

Damn, lost 6 bucks !!!
The reason why my feeling of a win was a little of skew was the fact my wife came to the game with me, for the very first time in her life. She would know a footy is she gave birth to one but she claims her presence provided some good luck.
I think she was right.l

Hell must have frozen over, because our midfield walked all over brisbanes.
Wooden somehow managed to keep Akermanis out of the game.
Voss was very quiet for his standards

The Collingwood game was very close and in the demons match we got within 10 points in the 3rd quarter!!!

Instead of your hatred of the Eagles bending your view on things, mayhaps its time you took off those blinkers and realised the WCE are on the way up. There is no way this year we shall finish on the bottom of the ladder at the end of the season.
You may not like the Eagles, but you have to admit they have a good side in the making and will be a force in years to come. I know you are hoping for us to fall on our face this year so you can rub it in, but me thinks you have a long wait till you are able to do that.

Now most of the eagle supporters here managed to stick to the comments without making it personal.
Sign of imaturity and lack of intellegence when the person resorts to personal attacks.
You should honestly take a good hard look at yourself if you cannot comment on the issues and need to abuse next time try keeping them to yourself.

Most of the time when a rival wins a brilliant game like the Eagles did against the Lions, the rivals usually come and say congrats on a great win...like Kuepper/Scal did. What a pity you arent mature enough to even congratulate the Eagles on what was a fantastic victory.

sabre_ac, nobody's got a problem with rivalry. It's expected, and it's great. But when you couldn't say a good word about the Eagles at gunpoint, and then have the gall to bag an Eagles poster for "taking the gloss off a Dockers victory", then you've got to expect people to get a bit sick of it.
As far as personal criticism is concerned, I don't know you personally. Shlt, you could be Nelson Mandela for all I know. But all I have to go on is your posts, and all I have seen from you (aside from various wild predictions, which is okay) has been an unhealthy fixation with the Eagles, and it's gone way beyond criticism and stirring.
Whatever your problem is, get the hell over it.
And avg. three posts a week (except when Dockerland is down) is "ticking over nicely"?
