Was Mike Sheahan right when he said On the Couch tonight Essendon's position on the ladder at the moment Flatters them?

i dont think our ladder position flatters us. we have beaten good teams, and we have beaten bad teams. the only thing that makes people question us is that we dont beat teams convincingly. i would much rather take the 4 points in a tight one than not. we have a great team with a good mixture of youth and mature players. i woul dback us to beat any team on our day.

Of course he'd say that. As if we should care what the little worm thinks. He said without question that Llyod should go for that 'charge' yet was adamant that Rocca should appeal his suspension last week.
Talk about changing your tune. Have always thought Sheahan forms his opinions based on the circumstances. :thumbsd:

This time last year he was saying we were unlucky not to win the games we lost by less than a goal. He should think before he talks we deserve to be where we are. Go Bombers.:D:D
Everyone was saying last year we were bad anyway despite losing a tonne of close ones, now they're saying we should be lower when winning the close ones.
People just don't like us, it's great.
We're not going anywhere so I don't think it really matters whether we deserve it or not. Fact of the matter is, Essendon have won 8 games and lost 5 games. The rest is detail.
