I have a question for you Crow folks
Is Neil Craig the type of coach, lets just say Marty plays a blinder in the SANFL, will he earn automatic selection the next week?
Hes in my DT, and Im not sure whether I should trade him or not.
Thanks for help in advance.
Well the thing is his SANFL club, Sturt has a bye this weekend. I think Cragie still intends to play him and yeh if he is droped to SANFL he wont stay there. Marty is satying in my dream team thats for sure.

That begs the question, if he misses this game, wont he miss another.
Thats assuming hes not a late inclusion.

Hey Chris,
I had Marty in DT but dropped him after the 3rd round. And am very happy with that decision. Just because he's a decent player in real life doesn't mean he'll be good for a DT. He's averaging 63 at the moment and thats crap for someone his price ($250K).
If you've got the trades, get rid of him!
Tip: Heath Shaw is only 15K more than him and averages 83.

I would love to, but I already have him.
I can get Johncock though. Would this be worth it?

Yeah I thought you might already have him. I wouldn't go for Johncock... He's averaging even less than Marty (61)...
Depending on how much loose cash you have there are other better options like McLeod, Hunter, Scott Stevens, Birchall, Newman, Petrie, Dodd, Leigh Fisher and so on...
When I think of this list Johncock looks like a waste of 250K...
my 2 1/2 cents

Problem is, Johncock is my limit, The most exspensive player I can buy.
If Johncock isnt the case.
Im looking at possibly Kennelly, McMahon.
But Newman might be a great option.

Yes, in that case Newman might be the way to go. Though McMohan is good value too.
Good luck with it!

thread moved - dream team talk.
Go with Johncock. He was great last season and IMO he will only get better. His injury has slowed his comeback, but I think he'll still play out the year.
I think H Shaw is under-priced at the moment as well. Have a look at him.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I decided to bide my time with Marty.
Hes my odd player in my team, and against these clone teams, he might just be the difference in a final.

Marty had 28 touches and set up many forward thrusts.
Is a chance of returning this week.
