I got the 2 disc special edition today and was rather pleased with it.
A lot of negative comments are around but frankly I found the movie to be fun & entertaining. I think being familiar with the Marvel Ghost Rider comics did help (that knowledge filled in some of the holes in the plot).
The special features on disc two are comprehensive, with some of them very enjoyable.
Don't get this movie if you want Citizen Kane, but for fun I give it a thumbs up.

Saw it at the movies... thought it was alright.. not real special.
Does the extras have a fair bit on Melbourne?? If so I might hire it out and watch it just for that.

No, it's not.
I was into the comic too but the movie was just a horrible mess.

i for one enjoyed the movie. though they did a great job. also expect the sequal to be alot more action packed as the producer admitted most htere budget was blwn on the cgi for the skull and this time round have a bigger budget to make alot more action.

Ok...I rated this movie in the worst three I have ever seen.
The plot was stupid, the characters lame, the dialogue was lame (the devil bit at the start was cringeworthy), the fact that Australian Idol girl actually was in it dragged it down even further didn't help either.
The only thing going for this movie was that it was filmed in Melbourne and Eva Mendes.

i know a girl who actually did some of the set props, like the tree where they carve their name into it
she said she knew it would of been horrible, but didnt expect it to turn out as bad as it did

It wasn't the Australian Idol girl, it was the girl from The Wedge, which makes it even WORSE!!!
