Now, I hate Port Adelaide, and have been quietly hoping the Bulldogs win all day. But I have seriously never seen a more one-sided and outright biased display of umpiring for the Bulldogs than today. I am gobsmacked.

Was pretty bad, but we cant blame our loss on that. We had our chances. If we played anywhere else other than indoors we would have caned the Doggies.
But well played Dogs, Johnson made a difference i think.

I badly wanted to win that game so that i could bag the umpires without it sounding like sour grapes.
Its a disgrace, all teams cop it, but it is spoiling our game.
P.S. pj, did ya have to throw in the hate Port bit :p

In the end we were outplayed. But if you even up the free kicks, I think Port would've won.

Hey I'm another Crows fan that thinks it was crap. Read all of the other threads on the game lol

Until you start punching up on me again, and mentioning back to backs......then i go tell mum again :D
Good call on the umpiring, i quietly let my veins pop in each temple !! before i smashed the TV and was rushed to hospital.
By the way, i hate the Cows.....;) But i think they are going to do well tonight, they always beat Hawthorn at Footy Park in blowey, crap weather.

No you wouldn't lol There were a few that went our way that I didn't understand. What was with that ruck contest 20m from goal when Street got the free? But Treds got a dodgy free in the last quarter as well lol And we got slaughtered by the refs last week so we'll take this one :D

Was it the umpire's fault that Burgoyne ran into an open goal in the last quarter and kicked a point?
Was it the umpire's fault that Burgoyne dropped an uncontested mark when he heard footsteps that allowed the Bulldogs to kick a goal?
The umpires have NEVER decided a game and they never will. They are just easy scapegoats for fans who wont accept that their team were not good enough to win on the day.

In the end, we did lose the game ourselves, but the umpires paid about 8 free kicks that directly led to a goal.

Maybe 2 or 3 defienetely not 8. And just because they pay free kicks that directly lead to goals it doesn't mean they were wrong to do so.

of course the only ones defending the umpires are bulldog fans
surprise surprise
and tredrea got a dodgy free in the last??? your kidding arent you
tredrea was constantly held, scragged, impeded and that was the only free kick he got. He has one arm held down in the first quarter and even the commentators were gobsmacked why a free wasnt paid to him
you pick that one out yet what about the dozen or so free kicks the dogs got that were more than dodgy

i'll admit we got some that were strange, but port did get some odd ones aswell, probably not as many as us though.
there were a couple of those f*kn stupid holding the ball decisions given and streets free kick was nothing short of hilarious!
however i think port were lucky to be that close in the end, the doggies have this pathetic ability to give other teams a chance to win the game and you have to wonder how effective chad cornes and cassisi's combined 70+ possessions were.
also alot of the decisions were pretty obvious and inneffective on the result

Was at the game, Honest opinion, They payed something to the Bulldogs, then wouldn't pay almost exact thing to port.
Pathetic.
Panell,Kennedy & Woodock were the umps. (not sure how u spell the first 1)
