People I spoke to through out the night included NN, Delivery man, legoman carl, roosterlad, crow4life.

AGreed on the great performance put in tonite by all. I for one have a very sore throat, and am glad we managed to keep the Bay 114 mob together - even though we didnt get the free tickets this week. Great stuff by all who showed up, I think the club would have been rapt that we kept it going. Those who didnt show up - lift your ******* game!!!!!!

Had some more crowd involvement tonight as well it seemed, a few people were getting into it from what I could see. And hw cool was it that Van Berlo came over to our section after the game!!! WHat a true GUN. Oh and credit to young Matty - very loud, and not afraid to say what he thinks. :thumbsu: Imagine in 10 years time when he is on the piss as well.

"16 years and won stuff all, Hawthorn, Hawthorn....16 years and won stuff all, Hawthorn, Hawthorn....16 years and won stuff all, Hawthorn, Hawthorn...." :D :D :D

I will be coming over again this season. Showdown looks the most likely for me. I was reading that the club mightn't be able to give us tickets that week but I hope that doesn't diminish from the Bay 114 mob coz the Showdown date suits me best.

By the way, I could hear you a couple of times tonight but I must concede I wasn't specifically listening out all that often. Sounded like a good job since I wasn't actively listening for you guys but just happened to notice your noise. :)

Went and started the game in Bay 132 and sat between my 2 fat brothers... so effectively they locked me in...and blocked the wind ;).

So I yelled and yelled and probably gave MD a headache...Im sure he heard my ''go for 86 points '' yells and smiled

And truth be known, whether it was wind direction but I thought Bay 114 was quiet.

Didn't hear you PC......

but I must admit the 86 points thing did cross my mind towards the end.....:D

I caught up with Miss Nik and Mighty Matt before the game but once again was dissappointed after leaving the comfort and warmth of the car to find no one else in the Shed........apart from Southerntakeover.........good to meet you mate.....:thumbsu:......

then again it was a cold night so you would have to be a Dingbat to move too far from the warmth of the car........;)

Dingbat! Ha! :D

Just been informed by his Mother that Mighty Matt has lost his voice. Silence is golden. :p

Nice to meet you Raik's although I did feel a little short standing next to you - could be because I am short though....

AC9 informed me that in the Northern stand they did convert a couple of girls with the "How wide do you want the goals" chant. I noticed that the little kids in front of us kept turning around and looking at us and enventually in the third and last quarters they started trying to clap along and sing a little bit which meant that the parents joined in too. There were a couple of women earlier that were also clapping along and singing to Adelaide is Wonderful. Small steps but slowly working.

I think there was about 12 maybe 14 of us BF-ites in a row there, so understandable if we were not as vocal as normal. But I did think everyone pulled their weight and we have decided that Gets! is obviously the reason for the loses so maybe we ban him from Bay114 for now ;)

Justing kidding Gets! Lucky bugger is still in Thailand :p

****en awesome night last night lads, I actually spent a fair bit of time watching the footy 'live' instead of on TV at the bar

I can't remember who kicked the goal that caused us to jump on each other soccer-style but that was pretty crazy shit!

Yeah we couldn't believe it. We started various chants but because it's so knew to everybody up there it was difficult to get people going. Then out of nowhere these 2 young girls just started up the 'how wide do you want the goals.' I froze in shock for about 2 seconds before joining in. :thumbsu::D

It was great to see a few of you and meet Nikki, young Matt and few others at the shed. Could here you guys from the Northern which was great too. Sorry didn't come down but I thought spreading the word was just as important especially after the above mentioned. Might visit my bay for a quarter each week to get them fired up and teach some more chants. :)

I hope this is the start of a great winning streak :D

Apologies for not making my way over this time.
Was enjoying the game in my regular seat to be honest - but did my best to make as much noise as I could in my black hole of a bay.
Could definately hear you guys though, so I kinda figured you didn't need my help ;) Didn't have my banner with me anyway, and I feel so naked without it.
Tops effort to those who showed up.

I believe we have may have been heard on tv, because there was a strategically placed microphone right above us pretty much.

In all honesty, I am having a bloody great time going nuts with you lads, since the inception of Bay 114, my cheering has gone to a whole new level. :thumbsu: I hope this isnt just a one season thing either, because trips to the footy just wouldnt be the same without it now!!

Had a fantastic time last night. We were small in numbers but big in voice.

Matt has lost his voice today - and the rest of the family are loving it.

Sean had a great time and wants to come over for a full game next time. Thanks for keeping an eye on him Delivery Man - much appreciated.

Did notice a few people started to join in throughout the bay as the game progressed as did a few in the next bay over.

Looking forward to the next home game - thought a banner with "Welcome Home Pav" in Crows colours might be appropriate:D

And for the record - i dont believe anything with Ole should be used.

However, after a soccering goal i think it would work wonders.

Spot on, I think towards the end there were a couple being started that were too 'soccer' / barmy army that will alienate most people at the footy here. You often hear 'we don't want that soccer crap' once certain chants start.

We just need a couple that can easily spread around the ground and make it one huge cauldron of noise. If we have too many different ones that it makes it hard to convert people into joining in.

Yeah, I noticed more crowd involvement seemingly in the second half, even the Hawks supporter next to me came out with the "how wide do you want the goals"

That would be kickin rad and could well be the type of stunt to put us on the map in the competitive world of amateur drunken sports shouting :thumbsu:
Seriously, if the smooth one could get that happening, it would absolutely go off.
Big effort for a one match thing though, so no pressure dude - I know I'd struggle to find the time for a project like that, and I'm on uni holidays :D I just dig that idea!

'We all dream of team of van Berlo's' made my week.

I had to pull that one out!!!

I just thought of that one at that precise moment, no time to test it out or seek approval... just went ahead with it. Glad it worked out.

Yeah, I suppose we should leave 'OLE' chants out until a soccered goal happens.

rip the bed sheet in half, and then sew them together so its really long, one that goes the entire length of the row would be awesome.

Chant for the night

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've got him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

They should put that show back on TV :thumbsu:

I'm no fan of the pussycat dolls, or chants based on any of their "songs", but...

We don't need the fev to make goals happen
We think that he's a hack
We don't need the fev to make our scores good
Cause the Pav is coming back

Well Just Got back from Brisbane/Gold Coast and I have to say a few of the Gold Coast locals......okay pretty much all of them out on Saturday night found out I was a crows Supporter!

I was a little pissed.....okay I'm was totally off my nut watching on the big screen in some bar shouting and screaming! I only got to see the first 1/4 cos I was on a pub Crawl and the other places didn't have it but I asked evey person at the nightclub and bouncers if they knew the Score

I had an Awesome time and recrutied a few locals who didn't like the crows to sing some of the songs withme cos they hated Hawthorn more!

although it was hard cos the Wallabies and Brisbane lions were playing at the same time so It took a huge effort from me and my mates to get the Crows Game on the Big screen but there were a few South Aussies there that helped us out!

You Guys Rocked!....i assume.... the tv didn't have Sound

Can't wait to get back to the Spiritual home that is Bay 114!!!
