I love Sewell, obviously has a great work ethic and has improved out of sight in the last few years.

I've noticed the last few games hes been trying to win more of his own ball and paying less respect to his opposition.

Thompson smashed him last night. 40+ possessions on someone who was early in the season, the leagues best tagger.

Love you sewelly, but go back to being the glove mate

yea he got beaten either way but if clarkson told him to go head to head with thompson thats a poor coaching move because with all respect to sewell his not in thompsons class so its either poor coaching or a shocker from sewell in terms of tagging.

sewell isnt in thompsons class ?

he has beaten or come out even with every player that he has played on so far this year.

this is the first time this year that he has been beaten.

he takes the best mid-field player every week and now has 1 bad game

you put a good spin on it though Brookers , either sewell played a bad game or its poor coaching.:(

come the end of the year i think we should get rid of sewell and ac cause they obviously cant work together

Thompson had 12-14 before Sewell went onto him, so its not as bad as it looks. He was still beaten though...

Completely agree, xellis. Sewell let it all get to his head and though he should try to be an accumulator at the same time - forgetting his number one objective - mark his man.

Honestly, i'd rather Sewell's opponent racked up 10-15 disposals a match (with Sewell doing likewise) to both Sewell and his opponent gathering 25+ possessions.

and were you in the team meeting ?

how do we know that sewell wasnt given an order to play his own game ?

he may even be given just a quarter or 2 to play his own game. none of us would know.

as for racking up possessions , it doesnt matter if its 15 or 25 as long as sewell uses his better than his opponent. if they both get 25 but sewells is 80% effective and his opponent 65% then sewell has won out

and according to Edd1e thompson had 12-14 before sewell went to him

Sewell started on McLeod, but was then moved onto Thompson as he was everywhere early...

After that it would appear no one picked McLeod up, and he was probably BOG :(
