if we win a few more games this season it will camoflauge the fact that we are a long way off the pace.
every week it is the same old stories, turnovers, bad decision making and no accountability when we don't have the ball and poor goalkicking.
what is the point of having a loose man in defence when we continually kick it to their opposition loose man.
i love this club and it is hurting to see how far we are`off the pace.
why can't we rectify mistakes we continually make week after week.

Your right it is the same story every week. It is the same disloyal people on this board that are mostly 12 years old and make threads like this to get a reaction. We all know that we arn't the best team in the AFL and we all know that we are rebuilding and losing. Far out guys have some patience.

turnovers/clangers are the common theme of the side. otherwise there is improvement!

As long as we win enough to avoid the Spoon will do me from here.

i probably went a bit over the top but it just frustrates me that it is the same mistakes week after week.
man i love richo like a brother but that kick at the end probably best summed him up.
but i am richmond till i die so i am with them and will ride thir losses and just try and look forward to next week
yeah i'm the same, johnson shits me though, something cronic, vintage johnson for the first gold coast goal.

too many weak bodied players unable to match the roos powerful men. our 1st year players are a long way off the pace compared to whjat the other teams have got with them getting minimal possessions.
wallace has been an aweful coach and just cannot cope with anything that laidley threw at him.
We had 10 players under 23 years of age today. Unfortunately, regular finals appearances are at least 3-4 seasons away. Even worse no September action for Richo, Johnson and probably Bowden, Simmonds and Brown.
where are all the people who thought we would be unbeatable with simmo and browny back?
we have a ****load of a long way to go
Dermott on the radio said we will only be scraping into the 8 in 5 years time and said we don't have any genuine superstars.
I got pissed off when I heard this but then in hindsight I think he is right.
I think it all comes down to belief.
Do the players want to go the extra yard to become competitive in the top 4?
The way they played last night, you'd think they just arrived from the pub to the game.:p
I'll shut up now for fear of pissing off fellow Richmond supporters.:D
Johnson-I'm gonna nickname him the shopping trolley-needs a push cause he's toooo slooooooow.
Oops-too late.
Ahhhh, f*** it.
I'm giving up on the Tigers to either devote more time to my drinking or to take up lawn bowls.
Both far more exciting propositions than watching us self destruct!

BS, BS, BS...
Patient won't get you skills...
Patient won't give you the ability to hit a team-mate with a pass...
Patient won't fine tune disposal skills...
Drafting guys with inherent (born with) footballing skills will.
It's not a turnover/clanger, it's the inablity to apply hand and foot skills.
AND AT THIS LEVEL AND AT THESE PLAYERS AGES....
THIS CAN'T BE TAUGHT !!! (Just look at Richo.....no player IN THE HISTORY of Aussie Rules has had more skills training.......
TO NO AVAIL!!!......WHY???.....THE GUY HAS NO FOOTBALLING BRAIN)...see below.

Bulldust.
Our crap recruiting is clearly evident now. The likes of howat, white, pattison, raines, thursfield, p bowden, kent kingsley, jay schulz, r tambling will not get us anywhere. You watch, we'll **** up this years draft too. We're just doomed to fail.

thats true and i have mentioned it before. the bulldogs were shocking against the roo's, the hawks were worse against the crows and the eagles as bad against the lions. its not as if other teams are clanger free.

If all of these people who are theatening to not follow the Tiges anymore actually follow through on their threat (promise?) there's gonna be a whole lot more bandwidth to move on this board.
Just make sure you've got a new pseud when you jump back on.

:)I might say it in jest, but I could never abandon the sinking ship or stop going to the football!!! Too big a part of my life just to ditch.
Yellow and black runs through my veins and for some reason, I somehow love the pain associated with all these losses.
I just look forward to the day these losses stop.
Yr a Tiger for life and it's a privilege in a f***** up sort of way!

Now that's more like it. Enough of the self-recriminations ... embrace the mediocrity ... while it lasts.:D

we are not going anywhere fast. we are hopeless and will be for a long time. these players have got no heart, and every ounce of confidence has been shredded.
The worry is that a few more seasons like this could break us financially, as well as spiritually.
dark days we are in...this must be what hell feels like.
I tend to agree. I think Richo's time is up. I am sick of his fundamental skill errors for the last 15 years. He never learns. When he gets the ball he's got the composure of a drunken sailor.
I know Frawley was a dud, but Wallace isn't proving much better.

Whoever said that we were go somewhere fast? That's the thing about a rebuild it should be quite a slow process if it's done properly.
