Anyone see or hear how he went y'day.
Not in best players, nor mentioned in match report.
In tracksuit for team song.
Maybe only played first half or something like that??
He only played the first half. Don't think he was injured. To be honest, his performance was pretty underwhelming. Looked veey underdone fitness wise which is understanding. Turned the ball over by foot plenty of times.
I was very disappointed with his onfield leadership. You would think the "Captian of the Club" would be a lot more demonstrative and vocal with the younger players around him, however he didn't seem to speak at all. I was very close by for the 2nd quarter especially. I don't know if it was because it was Box Hill and he didn't want to get in the way of their leaders or if he was embarrassed to play at VFL level after all the debate of whether or not he was in our best 22.
On a positive note, it was a good win by an understrength Box Hill. I thought Kennedy, Tuck, Muston and Renouf were the best of the Hawthorn listed players. I like Renouf's attitude!

Realist: Your post is off the mark. I thought Vanda was ok, but needs another couple of games to regain fitness. Renouf is out of form and can play a lot better than he has been for the last two weeks. Muston was ok, But again he was down on where he had been at. Tuck was excellent. Kennedy is always good when the going is heavy. You failed to mention how good Murphy was. Moss was quite and in my books Dowler still has a long way to go and needs to stop thinking about his game; just needs to get out there and play!

Mixed news then.
Would like to see a little more rotation into the Hawks team with guys like Little, Murphy, Tuck, Muston, Renouf, Dowler and Kennedy getting some time in the big league before season's end.

I am with you there and from yesterdays form Travis Tuck is ready,he was clearly the best player on the park in my book,he just knows how to find the pill.I thought Josh Kennedy was good but doesn't hunt the ball the way Tucky does but very strong over the ball. The other stand out for me was Luke McEntee in the ruck and very mobile for a big bloke.
Matt Little, took some strong grabs and should of finished with 3 or 4 goals.Kicking into the forward line is not that flash and he found it hard work.
Thomas Murphy,Richard Vandenberg and Beau Dowler i thought struggled.
Gary Moss did some nice work but i heard he has OP.
Beau Muston fairly quiet and undisiplined.
Brent Renouf kicked a nice goal from about 60-65 metres out and took a few strong grabs, but generally quite.
Matt Suckling played off the bench, was quite but has a nice kick on him.
Sam Gibson was alright without standing out.
Mitch Thorp and Zac Dawson did not play.Brett Collins did not play aswell

not saying you're wrong but i've read on many different posts, i think in the box hill thread that would suggest otherwise
one that stands out is Murphy, with a few people regarding him as near BOG
