How come he has come out and singled out one game?
You can pick out any game during a weekend and find 10 decisions that should or should not be paid.
Where is the zero tolerance on commentating on umpires?
Why has MM not been asked for a please explain when he stared down the umpires and it was highlighted in the media and joked about?
I would now like Adrian to go through every game and make a comment especially the Dogs vs Port game the other day with a 27-13 discrepancy. Also the Anzac day game with 20-10 frees in favor of the Pies..I wouldn't mind an explanation.
Further proof that the AFL is becoming a basket case. :thumbsd:

Collingwood are upset, so the AFL must come out and say sorry. We wouldn't want to upset the favourite son of the AFL now would we.
what a joke:thumbsd:

Well lets delve into the history books, and go over every b**lshit decision that James Hird has got over his career, and how many times Lloydy has dived and been given a free kick. Stop whinging morons

The week before port had 11 free kicks to brisbanes 28. We have been crucified by the umpires the last two weeks and where is our explanation?.
This extraordinary comment by Anderson underlines how the afl gives special treatment to collingwood over the over clubs. I guess all those years of collingwood cryng about brisbanes supposed preferential treatment worked.

Thats highly amusing, seeing as your mob was looking for sympathy and apology after injury "ravaged" the side in a loss that was never going to end differently

We're seeing some sensational football, and a large part of why we're seeing some sensational football is because the laws of the game committee over the last three years has made some big efforts to keep the game continuous …"
I'll take that as an admission that this boil on the bum of humanity is directly interfering in the laws of the game and their application as part of a policy to favour a certain style of football. The clowns are in charge of the circus

He is the guy who can comment about the umpiring.
You guys are worrying more and more about the free kick count. It shows that your team are more undiscipline and that is something that your coach has to address.
This has nothing to do with the team he supports. He is raising an issue about Andersons role and his choice of actions to only comment on one particular game.

The AFL rule should be more like the NRL one - you can say what you like about individual decisions , but cannot imply bias or general incompetence.

No probs, I'll do it.
The umpires blew the whistle and gave a free kick to Collingwood on 20 occasions during that game. The umpires blew the whistle and gave a free kick to Essendon on 10 occasions during the same game. Hence 20 - 10.
In case you hadn't noticed, free kick counts mean nothing. It's whether or not they're warranted, and whether frees were missed. All 20 - 10 says is that Essendon infringed twice as often, until proven otherwise.
Why has MM not been asked for a please explain when he stared down the umpires and it was highlighted in the media and joked about?
I'm guessing, Mr. Bush, that it has to do with there being no rule against staring.

Correct.
... and the fact that they preach a zero tolerance to umpire questioning or abuse yet they have come out and supported Collingwoods criticism.
Earlier in the year Eade, Roos and Sheedy got the "please explain" letters from the AFL for criticising hands the hands in the back rule.

can someone please explain why the free kick count must be 50/50?

It doesnt
But when a team dominates the play its hard to see how the opposition could have double the amount of free kicks
