Gee the Essendon boys must REALLY still be stung about the loss on Friday night.

But i must really, from the bottom of my heart, thank James Hird. Thats right, im thanking him. Why?

Because i put a bet on that he would get injured in his 250th, and golly what do you know im correct and now $1000 richer.

As for the Hawks fans, gee, we could beat the Crows over there why couldnt you? Stop trying to take attention from your pitiful performance and just admit when the time to stand up came your team were like children :thumbsu:.

In the Grand final against the Kangaroos

"Geelong by 5, a minute to go in this prelim between West Coast and the Cats, Cam Mooney is running forward on the HFF with a chance to put the game out of the Eagles reach, Gary Ablett's alone in the goal square, oh no what's this Mooney has decided to try and kick it himself instead of passing it to Ablett, oh dear, he's gone for a reverse banana torpedo with the non-preffered from the boundary 50m out, really poor play from Mooney, could have iced the game for the Pussies, in the end didn't even kick a score, Hurn takes the free from the back pocket boundary, kicks a thumper up to centre half forward, marked by Dean Cox, one last roll of the dice for the eagles at he pumps it forward, big pack flies, EMBLEY! Embley has scissor kicked the ball out of mid-air over his head for a goal, unbelivable scenes, and the siren goes! Eagles into the grand final, Cats are devastated, Bomber Thomson is shaking his head in disbelief, Gary Ablett is pulling his hair out, Mooney has gone and headbutted an umpire from behind, oh dear, I've seen some Geelong chokes before Huddo but this one takes the cake..."

"And Kerr with the chance to make a matchsaving tackle OH BOY he hits high contact and gives away a goal in the square, Eagles lose another Grand Final by a small margin..."

I dont know whats worse, Tasmanian Hawks with their inbred cousins, or West Coke Eagles with their druggo Cousins :thumbsu:.

But at least you may have him back for rehab next year, oops i mean preseason.

Also, the Swans at home.

I guess we did lose an elimination final in 2000, so...I'm trying to see where you guys are coming from. Won finals in 2004 and 2005...

SO much fear, SO much anxiety. I LOVE IT :thumbsu:

Coming from an inbred Geelong fan,

makes that remark humorous.

And now being serious, there is no way Geelong can be ignored as flag favourites. Although, if they meet Hawthorn, the Western Bulldogs, or the Kangaroos in the finals, some Geelong fans will be feeling anxious.;)

What is with this simple idea that because one team beats another, they are a certainty to do it again? I would rather play Kangaroos or Bulldogs again than say, Adelaide.

I'd be anxious against the Hawks, a little bit anxious against the Roos and have next to no anxiety if we met the Doggies. Any supporter who wouldn't be feeling anxious before a match is setting themselves up for a fall. That said, the Doggies would probably beat us, we'd have a narrow win against the Roos and beat the Hawks comfortably.

I've been saying this all year, but our Geelong friends all have their head in the sands about this one, and reckon he's the best coach of the AFL.

Pathetic really

Yes, supporters thinking that the coach of the team on top of the ladder is the best in the AFL. How pathetic. Supporters blaming a teams performance entirely on the coach, that's pathetic. If Daniher leads Freo to a Premiership will you cry?

Bah, you have to have it in the bag in order to choke... The hawks were never given the chance to choke...

PS: shouldn't there be a poll attached to this? - Out in the Semis.

Dunno about the team, but I'll be choking on too much tequila after the Catters take out both the Tassie Hawks and the West Coast Franchisees, one of them in the Grand Final!:thumbsu:

The Tassie Hawk's favourite non-playing son 'spermbowl' will be choking on a blue-veined sausage in his efforts to console Hodge, Franklin and H2F - all at the same time!

Ted Ed Fred will be choking on various summonses as he tries to get back from Medelin, Colombia with several kilos of that nation's finest export filling condoms and shoved straight up his arse. He'd of been keen to console the entire West Coke Franchise before those dutiful men & women from Australian Customs made him strip naked, opening up that infamous 'little back room' at Perth's airport!

Subsequently Ted will change his bigfooty screen name to Ted E Bare...

Ironic then that there is a post in the Geelong forum that questions alot of his tactics... but lets not let the facts get in the way of a good story snowbunny :thumbsu:.

I've always wondered why a loss in the finals was considered a choke, now if the team was up by a huge margin and lost they'd certainly be considered a choke.

It's hard to say when Geelong would lose in the finals, if at all, they are looking like a well oiled machine at the moment, so it could come at any stage. I have heard some teams who have been on a long streak prefer to drop one or two games before the finals to prevent themselves getting a huge head, or something like that.

A kick from the back pocket to centre half forward?:rolleyes: As if. Only way he could do that is if he was kicking with the aid of a cyclone.

Well if the Pussies get their way and a prelim is played at SS I wouldn't discount it :)

No we don't, and most of us still have big question marks about his tactical nous. But you aren't going to argue when you've won 9 straight are you?

Whatever he's doing, at the moment it's working. Of course, there are still 8 rounds to go.

If they're ever going to win it it'll be this year.
WCE struggling, no-one else within striking distance, bar a major upset the Cats should win the flag.

Gee if poor Juddy has to have surgery like many are reporting, however will you win a game outside of Subi?

And as for Hawthorn, who's supporters keep yapping, finals arent in Tassie :thumbsd:.
