Why don't the Brisbane Lions wear the old Fitzroy jumper
when they play down hear in Melbourne, ya know
just to respect the old Fitzroy Lions and their history?
I reckon it's a good idea, They should wear it everytime they
play in Victoria, To honor The good old Fitzroy Lions
I'm a Collingwood supporter, but I just think it's a good idea
And I reckon the Old fiztroy jumper looks better than Brisbane's current clash jumper anyway. It would be good for all the old Fitzroy people down in Vic.
Any thoughts?

I dont think having them wear the Fitzroy jumper everytime they play in Melbourne is the way to go, but why not just introduce the old Fitzroy jumper as their clash guernsey.
I enjoyed watching the game on Saturday night with them in the old jumper. I was only 11 or 12 when they played their last game against Fremantle, so it was good to see the old jumper again.

Discussing the jumper idea with friends over a bear last night and the best idea agreed was that we wore the Fitzroy guernsey once or twice in Melbourne a season and make a big deal around it i.e. a special after-match or pleasant sunday morning at Brunswick Street Oval and have the Bears guernsey for a couple of matches in Brisbane.
This was discussed with an ex-Bears supporter now Lions supporter whom totally agreed with having the Fitzroy guernsey on show at the most opportune times in Melbourne.

FITZROY JUMPER MAY RETURN (http://footyheads.com.au/index.php/2007/07/13/fitzroy-jumper-may-return/)
BRISBANE chief executive Michael Bowers says that the Lions are considering using the traditional Fitzroy jumper as a regular away uniform.
“I and a lot of other people watching the West Coast game thought the Fitzroy colours looked magnificent out there on Subiaco. So we’re having a good think about maybe duplicating that on the MCG or Telstra Dome for our future Melbourne-based fixtures.”
This weekend Brisbane will wear their white clash jumper when they take on Melbourne at the GABBA.
There was some outcry from Lions fans earlier in the year when the club donned the white clash jumper against Adelaide.
However Chief executive Michael Bowers says that because this weekend’s match is technically a Melbourne’s home game, the Lions are obliged to wear their clash strip.
“The club remains committed to wearing the current clash Guernsey as it clearly separates the two sides … but we definitely aren’t trying to alienate any of our members or supporters,” Bowers said.

Brisbane Lions' membership numbers are down 16% this year. I think they are now the lowest in the AFL, so they are probably desperate to get more support. If anyone wants to see the Lions wearing the FFC, now would be a good time to send the club an email.
