Just wondering which ground people think we're better at? We seem to have been pumping a few sides at the Dome lately, but I thought the spaces at the MCG would suit our running game a lot more.
Thoughts?

Last year I would have said the G' but this year I would say the dome. Perfect conditons for our running game.

MCG by the length of the MCG and further, easily, better, gooder, can go outside to buy reasonably priced food.........better playing surface, bigger, get to use my binoculars, Hawthorn requires the MCG to house the crowd size potential, genuine grass green colour, prepares our players for GF experience.

Good question.
Highlight on both grounds,
Match vs Carlton at the Dome.
Match vs Essendon at the G.
So hard to choose!
But I agree with hawka_fan, we've been playing the Dome better this year as it peculiarly suits our running game more. Not that we play badly at the G, we just don't look as cohesive on the surface.
Whilst it's probably due to the opponent, i'd like to think it's mainly the surface. :D

They both seem to suit our play now. Last year I would have said MCG but now even supporters from other teams are fearing us at the Dome which is good.
MCG is larger and cuts down the effectiveness of choking the game. See how we play at AAMI it's too small. I think if we came up against Adelaide at TD we might be in trouble as well. I'm glad they don't play finals there, I think we would be better served to play finals type footy at the MCG.

Buddy always cuts loose on the G bugger the dome thats not how football should be played. Imagine we still played on the wide expanses of Waverly we would absolutely dominate

I would have said MCG as we had a bad run at the dome for a number of years. I also like the way we play at Launceston, ithink it also suits our game style and is similar in proportions to the MCG. But this year we have done well at the Dome. I am worried about when we play in Sydney on the last round as I believe that is one ground that does not suit us.
