Funnymen's tiff no joke (http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21598,22054913-5012990,00.html)
It's a shame something Tony Martin thinks is gold won't see the light of day. Probably better than the train wreck of a film it was based on.
Martin>Molloy.
Some of those who have seen Martin's film suggested it may have been chopped for being "too funny'', potentially overshadowing the feature itself.
I think that's the key line here. You'd have people watching the mockumentry thinking "why wasn't this the actual film?"
What happend to Mick Malloys radio show Tough Love on Triple M? As I understand it he left radio. But there was no doubt that Get This owned it in every way possible.

Martin carried Molloy for years and this is the thanks he gets? Molloy can feck off as far as I'm concerned. Glorified, unfunny hobo shmuck.

When they worked together their shows had the classic essence of being extremely professional yet appeared spontaneous and completely unprepared.
Working alone has proven that Martin was the highly professional, well prepared member and Molloy is the lazy boof just rocking up to the studio and thinking it will all work.
Tony Martin does four months of work for you and you don't use it?
Madness.

Martin is the Damon and Molloy is the Affleck.
I know someone who worked on the movie Boytown. They reckon the movie was riddled with money problems from day one and was a large reason for why the end product ended up sucking. The movie was cut by something like 20 mins. Alot of the funny parts were cut and alot of corners were cut. It really was a horrible movie wasnt it

Quite obvious that it was going to make Boytown, a movie that looked so turgid I didn't even bother, look like the pile of steaming excrement it no doubt was.
Mick Molloy hasn't been funny since The Late Show and is simply embarrassing himself right now with that appalling shit on TV ATM.
Australian comedy for you.

If this hadn't happened I imagined Martin would of cut off all contact with Molloy after watching the train wreck that is The Nation.

Martin Molly was a great radio show and Crackerjack was a good movie.
But I think Tony is funnier

That sucks. But if it encourages Martin to do a project without the albatross that is Molloy hanging around his neck, it'll be worth it.

Still he did Bad Eggs which was less then successful (Even though I liked it)

I really enjoyed Bad Eggs. The opening section was one of the funniest film moments I've seen.

Get This is the funniest radio show out there at the moment. Get it on the podcast if you can. Tough Love had its moments but I think Molloy really only knows one brand of humour and that wears out pretty quickly.

I liked it but it probably lacked a little.
When Judith Lewis is your leading lady you're on the back foot from the get-go.

Absolutely. Please kill her.

That brand of humor was bashing his fist on the desk, shouting like a fool.
