What do you guys think of the idea of having a VAFA Hall of Fame, to honour past greats of VAFA football, who made the VAFA what it is today from 1892 until now? I know the VAFA has their Certificate of Merits and the 300 Club, but this is another way to recognise players, officials from ALL clubs their contributions to the VAFA.

The following crtiteria could apply here:
ON-FIELD
*Played in one or more premiership team
*Played 100 + games
*Played State of Origin or representaive football for the VAFA
OFF-FIELD
*Have completed 10 or more years off-field service at either club or VAFA level (president, secretary, treasurer, VAFA Executive)

NUP!
Leave recognition for contribution to the clubs. Stalwarts and club greats do it "FOR THE CLUB" not for the Ammos. Recognition, be it life membership, name on a board in the club rooms etc, is best left up to individual clubs to decide. It means so much more.
