Wasn't Cooney becoming a father??
Any word on whether his Missus had the baby and whether it was a boy or girl?

At the rate they're all going, the team in 25 years might not be too different from the one today.

Congrats to Brian.

A daughter named Ashleigh

Congrats to Harris as well.

Edit: I'm not sure if she's Cooney's daughter, perhaps just his partners, but there was an article in the leader that mentioned it.

Yeah, the article just said that his partner Hayley and her daughter had moved over from Adelaide, so I took that to mean that she's only his partner's child.

But also, Harris is already a dad, he has a son Bailey I think.

Actually that raises a very interesting topic. What if, an AFL player marries a girl who already has a son? The boy takes the players last name, and grows up calling the player Dad. Are they eligable for Father/Son? (differnt genes of course though)

lol my sister's in love with him because she was in his class at school and she loves Bob Dylan. Every article he writes at the very least has Bob Dylan mentioned in it, often in the title lol What was with that artcile he wrote about a football team of musicians? It wasn't really about anything lol

I'd imagine if they were formally adopted then they would be considered for F/S.

As an aside, in the same way I'd suspect that, statistically speaking, at least some of the children of AFL footballer may in fact belong to the milkman without their knowledge:D:D
