Last week, the coasters were one win ahead of second place, now they are two wins ahead.

One camp (WC fans) will argue that it's because the Eagles are first at the footy and are earning the frees. On the there side of the argument (intelligent unbiased footy fans) will outline the stats, as well as pointing out the favourable treatment the Eagles have got for the last two plus years.
Check the link above out. Don't forget to select 2006 and 2005 for further proof. Are the Eagles favoured by the umpires and the AFL? Let the trial begin.
Yep the umpires love us.
Give WC the 2007 premiership now, the rest of you dont have a chance. :thumbsu:

Maybe someone should tell Crawf that offering the umpires hot oil massages and handjobs is'nt a way to get on their good side.

Geelong first on AFL ladder.
Point being?
You do actually need to take a look at how (on field) disciplined they are, as well as other clubs.
With onfield disciplined included, Adelaide gets screwed over royally - for a team with the on field discipline they possess.

Funny stuff. :thumbsu:
Craw has been playing rather well lately it has to be said............................
Point being?
This is the point of Bay 13 my friend.
No point at all. :thumbsu:

So, if we take an arbitrary line of 10% more free kicks for-vs-against as significant, in the last 6 years there have been 14 teams with significant advantages in free kicks over a season.
10 are Vic clubs (71%)
3 are West Coast
1 is Brisbane.
The reverse (10% less free kicks for-vs-against as significant)
7 are Vic clubs (46%)
8 are non-Vic clubs.
So overall, the umpires are doing a good job of screwing over non-Vic teams over the last 6 years (WC excepted)
