Disgraceful, forget "bad" umpiring decisions, I'm sick of the bias. Good to see Demetriou has his priorities right, sitting with the Saints

Umpiring was fine. Living in a house of Adelaide supporters it was quieter than normal for yelling at umps.

Yup, I am sure the AFL board sat down at the start of the year and said "Man, we really hate the Crows. Neil Craig looks like a bit of a crayfish. I know, lets get the umpires to make them lose games. That would be funny."

Well, they did sit down and have an official inquiry into how they could get more victorian teams higher on the ladder  not saying they specifically mentioned umpires but can you honestly see this happening if there were no "interstate" teams in the eight?

Seriously, stop blaming the umpires for the loss.

They were much better than us, we got crucial injuries, should've lost by way more than 2 points.

They do have an impact, however, Adelaide didn't play a great game tonight and were a bit lucky the Saints were pretty ordinary in front of goal.

No worse than they are every week. Can't blame them for the loss. I'd be more inclined to lay the blame on the fact that we can't seem to hit a target.

Thought it was a good game, few decisions both ways that were very questionable... but didn't decide the outcome.

Great game in fact!

U were lucky u didnt get done by 4 goals or more...they had no luck in front of goal and missed a cpl of easy ones.

Plus the umps gave u a few dreamy free kicks 15m out in the 1st...u cant whinge about the umps champ.

Was a good game...Gehrig was giving Rutten a bit of a touch up before he went off.

Riewoldt killed you...worked his guts out all the way up the ground...perfect target.

I feel embarassed to be an Adelaide supporter sometimes the way they carry on after the match.

I thought the umpiring was ok actually.

I was pleased the Crows toughed it out, it looked like they were going to go down by alot more...and probably should've really.

Well played Saints.

Please dont embarrass other Crow supporters with the old "umpires" or bias crap....we lost to a side that played better than us tonight ...simple !!

Why do people feel the need to bag the umpires after every match when their team deserves the blame?

It is weak isnt it....I get as frustrated as anyone during a game, but I dont see to many games at all decided by poor umpiring.

Because people like to look everywhere else for excuses apart from their own backyard :thumbsu:

if that wasnt as deliberate out of bounds that maguire did when he punched the ball out of bounds then ill go he

but of course where were the gutless men in white?

thats right when shane o'bree kicks the ball 30 metres and it bounces 4 times and goes over the line they pay that deliberate

the standard of umpiring is at an all time low

we lost the game on our own accord we played like Shit and were lucky to keep it at 2 points

i'd just like to have Consistancy I think we all would sometimes in the same game the umpires interpritation changes!

I'd like to give Scott Thompson a shout out the poor bloke cops at least one poor holding the ball descion and I'm supriesd he hasen't gone to the umpires to ask why when the exact same situataion occur in the game but it's opposition it's not a free.

As an independent observer I thought the umpiring was excellent last night as it was in today's Pies-Cats game.
