Port dominated no doubt about it in the first qtr, but every 50-50 decison went there way...west coast laid about 10 tackles where they dropped or threw the ball..(incoorect disposal) and it was play on.
When clubs want the AFL to clrify umpiring deciosn, they should simply handd over a rule book to them.
Todays umpiring has been the most reactional umpiring I have seen.
they asked for Bas they got it...like ordering hj burger with fries....
maybe every club should complain
Now you know how everyone else feels like when they go to Subi. ;)

a west coast fan complaining about umpiring is as rich as a collingwood complaining about how hard their draw is.

Remarkable coincidence how the team that is reportedly "talking to the umpiring panel to find out where they're going wrong" each week seems to come out with a shitload of free kicks that weekend.

Makes you want to believe in reincarnation. :p

It's not that bad seriously...the only one that went the wrong way was Ports first goal where I think it was Pearce was holding on to B. Jones...other than that, the free kicks were their/not their. You see all those ruck maul type dropping the balls every week and they're never paid unless it is blantly obvious, which they weren't.
It's more the fact that West Coasts confidence is sitting on the shit heap with all the injuries and they're playing like kids who've forgotten how to win...while Port are hard at it playing like Lions in Africa, they've found wounded prey and they're going in for the kill with no mercy
Tizza, if it frustrates you that much turn it off...I know I did, more for the safety of my fist not running into something and getting badly hurt :p

if your first to the ball then you'll get the assistance of the umpire.
I believe that was the catch cry of the WCE supporters in the first half of the year.

This thread is gold. Now i've seen everything, a Weagles fan whinging about the umpiring. :D
For so long the Weagles get the best of the umpiring week in and week out and suddenly when things don't go their way, apparently the world is against them. :D

Just wondering how Big Cox's prediction of Eric MacKenzie "easily" winning the rising star nomination this week is going?
Is 2 SuperCoach points any good?

Don't whinge about the umpiring - we are playing crap, Port are playing well, end of story.

I just think its ordinary that a side can ask the AFL for a better deal from umpires before agame is played...whats going to gappen do you think.
Port are playing well no doubt about it...but every 50-50 decision is going there way..Lynch gets shoved in the back no free...Port would be 5 or 6 goals in front if the umps were unbiased...not 8
This has for me is crucial, I can gurantee every club CEO will be on the phone to the AFL this week saying..we'll have a port burger thanks..what they had thanks
mods yoyu can delete this thread if you like I have ade my point, as you will anyway its common knowledge on this forum that most of the mods dont like swans and west coast because they are suscessfull (Talking about YOU FRED!!, yes you FRED)

West Coast are just play bad with some young kids, yous will still do well in the finals and most likely make a Grand Final

Even I'll admit WCE are getting a rough go from the umps (& ain't it sweet for a change...). Doesn't explain why you've been so crap tho.

Port are definitely benefitting from mark williams complaints and bullshit tactic which no team should be allowed to do.
Nevertheless we would be flogged anyway because port are still dominating us, i don't think the outcome of the match has been changed at all.

uh....no! hes just going to play a decent game next week, and his game will look OUTSTANDING in comparison to this one
Mckenzie has been below average, not doing anything, not even protecting runners

Most free kicks are earned (or should be) by putting your body in the right position and/or being first in for the ball. We are simply not doing that and Port are so, the decisions are going their way.

Amusing to see how the West Coast midfield plays without their protected-species status.
