Too good on the day for us and thoroughly deserved the win.
Lets hope there is a return bout at some stage in September.
i posted this already in the gameday board, but i have been an emotional wreck for the last 3 hours.
It was so hard to watch a game that close and intense between these 2 sides.
the pies did a fantastic job today, and there were many times when i thought that we were going to get overrun in the last quarter.
Cheers nihh, was a top game!
Long kicking, hard tackling, lots of crap ump calls.. Makes for a great Vic game of footy :thumbsu:

Well done Catters, without a doubt the best team won on the day. Our tackling was terrible today because you buggers kept breaking them! :eek:
The Cats were great today.
Any doubts I had over their capacity to handle big game situations have been put to bed over the past fortnight...
Good luck in the finals.

Thanks guys, that's very gracious. It was a nerve-wracking game and despite what Malthouse said, I thought the Pies were really good. Go Cats!!!

Well done today on a deserved win.:thumbsu: The difference was that you had close to 22 players committed to a win where we had about 12 passengers today.
Your link play was sensational. My blood was boiling watching you guys link 4-5 handballs together in a contested situation and than run it away from there.
PS - Love Gary Ablett and the way he plays and goes about his footy. Played a great game despite the flu all week.

Great game Cats...too good on the day.
All played hard and fair. Umps had no say in the result.
The only thing which could have made it better was if the Pies got up.
Scarlett played a blinder.
Hope our clubs clash heads again in the finals but not too early.

Apparently Andrew Mackie and Matthew Scarlett are key suspects in the double dissapearance of Alan Didak and Anthony Rocca. They were both believed to have been kidnapped after last being seen in the Collingwood Warmup at the MCG.
