5. Scarlett - owned Rocca and created so much play and used the ball so well
4. J Corey - Had 34 (I think) but used it well and with great purpose
3. Enright
2. Selwood
1. Ling
Apols to G Ablett (his recent high standards are his own worst enemy), Mackie (owned Didak and reads the play so well), Harley (beat Thomas among others) and Enright (had a purple patch in the second qtr when he was everywhere).
I've noticed Chappy in some votes. Thought he was poor. Didn't chase, didn't tackle and looked lazy. Super mark but.
5. Scarlett
4. Corey
3. Selwood
2. Mackie
1. Blake (apart from the shot at goal!)
Honorable mentions : Ablett, Ling, S. Johnson

5. M Scarlett
4. J Selwood
3. C Ling
2. A Mackie
1. P Chapman
5 Scarlett - total domination of opponent and supreme vision and ability to create space. Close to a 10/10 game.
4 Corey - the man is a running machine, covered a terrific amount of territory and was still going at the end. Thank goodness he isn't played down back o more.
3. Mackie - a personal fave, thought he read the play well and kept Didak quiet.
2. Selwood - how can someone so inexperienced have such awareness? Plays like a 200 gamer.
1. Harley - great game from the skipper, why was he taken from the ground in the second. Please can someone give a replay of his performance to Josh Hunt. I hated Hunt's failing to run into the line of Rocca's leads, especially when the other defenders never question zoning off.
Great effort Cats.

5. Scarlett -showed why he was and will be AA FB.
4. Corey - one of his best games this year.
3. Mackie - What do the knockers have to say now.
2. Selwood- What a player!
1. Ling - He done it again.
5 Scarlett
4 Corey
3 G Ablett

Apology to Chappy,Mackie and Harley
5. Scarlett

Midfeild domination but the forwardline was unable to convert. Selwood played another blinder with 22 disposals 6 tackles and a goal but when a full back holds his man to 1 goal and gets midfeilder type posessions it has to be BOG.

5. Corey - 34 disposals is enough to get him the 5. With Ablett and Bartel relatively quiet, really stood up,
4. Selwood - how good is this kid? Collignwood showed him no respect and he smacked them around for it.
3. Scarlett - soundly beat Rocca and ran hard all day. Awesome.
2. Enright - Boris was BOG in the 1st quarter, and while it went down hill a bit from there was good all day. Definitely getting back to top form.
1. Dog - was on fire, but made some daft mistakes. Ah well, that's Steve Johnson. Loved his dummy on Goldsack, right in front of Feral Central.
Apologies: Ling, Junior, Mackie, Chappy.

ablett quiet? 32 touches... wouldn't say quiet....
32 touches with virtually no tackles, and while I did say in some other post that Ablett's play today was a masterpiece of creating space and time, didn't think he was as devestating through the middle as he has been.

Kittenish, Kittenish, Kittenish - no Scarlett?
You have surely realised by this point that Kittenish's votes have little connection to reality. Bartel 4 votes for 8 touches in a half of football, anyone?

5. Scarlett - not much doubt about his match
4. Ablett - a class above although not his best
3. Selwood - he is going to be a champion of the game
2. Ling - just does the right things at the right time
1. Enright - pivotal to our success, doesn't stop working.
Mentions to Mooney, Chapman, Coery and I thought Stokes was good early.
P.S. Very enjoyable sticking it up those Maggies, sitting in the middle of them all on the top deck of the Olympic!

Dont worry. At the start of the year I told everyone I would not accept stupid/gag votes such as people getting votes 'coz they got hurt and for being a trooper.'
I never thought it would happen, but then came Kittenish..

Apologies to Gazza, Mackie, Harley and Otto, who were also deserving.
And just for the record, it should be noted that Geelong's side was on average younger than Collingwood's youngsters, and had played fewer total games.
