Holy crap, worst time ever for larygitis, trying to sell your shit to the US market. I hope that doesn't dent the progress.

if they had an entire gig they wouldn't have played... but as they only had 1 song he had a crack, too bad it would be on national television...

its still alot better than craig nicholls' effort on letterman a few years ago

He struggled, but a really great effort to do that when suffering so badly. I may be wrong but some parts had a dirty tone to straight lines that i liked lol

Anger and suffering i think are behind some of silverchairs best music!

I reckon it sounded pretty cool, a bit like old silverchairDespite the bad parts of the performance, I didn't mind it either.

'Straight Lines' is a song in which he needs to hit high notes (impossible with his voice the way it was), he tried it once or two and his voice just wouldn't work so I reckon he did well to think on his feet and change the way he sang it to really yell it out, as he could probably disguise his voice a bit more that way (by that time, people have would realised though).

Props to him for trying and improvising mid-song, would have been very easy to just back out!

Gotta feel for them on the national stage not to be able to really go for it. Considering I have seen the Chair live on many occasions, i know how good they are live, so thats disappointing for them.

yep that bloke looks like he is need of a good bashing,:thumbsd: was ****ing funny footage but I felt bad for the other band members, no wonder one of them attacked him on stage in the middle of a performance.
