does anyone know where the finals will be played this year. heard a whisper that gembrook will have the div 2 GF

Anywhere but Warburton. Facilities are terrible, need mountain climbing boots to get from one end to the other. Why the league uses this venue as a showcase is a joke. But seriously they normally try and keep clubs from playing on their home ground so they might wait a few more weeks to finalise it.

Dont mind warburton myself. Great atmosphere and one of the most picturesque grounds around. The ground is always in good condition and always seems to be a good atmosphere.

I think once again they will share the finals around - Woori should host the first division and Healesville second. Hate Gembrook personally due to the wind always blowing - seems to favor one end all the time.

yeh feel the same about gembrook my old home ground would rather it piss down than blow a gale. healsville was great last year.

Might be nice to play the Thornton v Alexandra second semi final up north somewhere. They could play it at Yea and everyone would have less travelling to do.

Surely Kilsyth should be a goer, however with Silvan playing there all year it will be unfair, for future i think all GFs should be here, the best ground, will be best facilities, good viewing areas, need parking, a perhaps a little more raised area at the non-clubrooms end, but i think the dimensions compliment valley football perfectly. Big enough to be open if your team plays that way, but if a team is good enough they can also shut it down, best surface aswell, (however heard it's been a tad chopped this season)
