View Full Version : I just don't get it
I could think of a million excuses for how bad we are, but seriously its got beyond a joke , 100 points, 77 odd points, 60 odd today 3 out of the last 4 games? are we seriously this bad?
Some of you might say yes we are, but that is true bullocks we are not this bad, I am one of those people who would be happy for us to get the picks, but seriously we don't even deserve to be in the AFL right now we are a absolute disgrace, If I offended people I'm sorry but watching these games is making me sick, we are no heart, no guts and some of these draft picks we are getting are seriously showing absolutely nothing for their rating before coming to AFL.
I know this takes time , but seriously when are we going to be anywhere? this year we might get some more draft picks... thats great? then another few years for them to develop and in maybe 10 years we might get some-where? this is a joke.... what the heck can we do..... we need experienced players, we are going to lose Kouta very soon, Whitnall can go to Jenny Craig for all I care and who else do we have as serious leaders? obviously Nick stevens and Lappin?
Lappin I respect and Stevens highly but seriously after a few years they are gone and we are really looking in trouble I hate being this negative but Im just frustrated out of my mind watching the last 4 weeks and seriously don't think we are this bad , but I can't understand the floggins we are getting TIME AND TIME AGAIn
IM DONE!
(sorry bout this, im just so mad!)

It's all good. Mr Pratt should buy us another flag by 2010 and all will be hunkydory!
no need to be mad, that gets you know were. im disappointed if anything but we are still moving in the right direction on and off the field. Another year of strong recruiting a new coach, Stevens coming back into the side, we have a lot to look forward to and don't let other supporters get to ya because you'd be doing the same to them, instead think of the future we are about to start int he up coming years and remember the past.
And don't ever stop being arrogant because thats our thing, other supporters just don't do it right and it makes me laugh. lmao
CHIN UP! AND **** OFF TO THE OTHER 15 TEAMS!
we aren't as bad as this, but you have to wonder how many of the players are taking it seriously? I wonder how many are following the example set by Stevens and are out drinking most nights?
I reckon our boys have packed up for the season.

We are not heading in the right direction on the field, we are just treading water. Just by playing kids doesnt mean that we will get better. We are a disgrace at the moment.
Collingwood have just as many kids as us playing, their kids are pick 30's an 40's and going much better at the moment than our 1st rounders. Our kids may end up better (hoping), but our whole side at the moment is terrible. If I supported the filth I would be more confident about their on field future than ours.

Wrong on the Stevens thing.
But we have definetely packed up our bags this year. No longer interested. Hopefully we lift for Pies & Bombers games though, don't want to get smacked up by them.

no, have a 1am curfew
come on...you didn't seriously think we would get any where near the swans at home did you..played in last 2 GF's won one and lost the other by a bees d..k..you'd expect a thumping given our last few weeks record....I don't know about you guys but the moral looks as though it has been sucked out of everybody and they can't wait for the seasons end....but look on the bright side we have won twice as many games as last year we have record membership and attendance....clubs in good financial hands...murphy, gibbs walker simpson ohailpin carrazo bentick fisher kennedy thornton fevola???? stevo to come back next year and 2 or three new kids from the draft..probably a new coach (hope it's harvey) and we are looking good...anyway I'm on the North Melbourne bandwagon now (everybodys seconf team).....cheer up there is lots to be excited about.....

yes, i did. i certainly didn't expect sydeney to best thier 1934 effort to set a scoring record against it.

Maybe not, but conceding 162 points to a team that averages 12 goals a game on a good day is a huge concern...

Its frustrating I know, but all we can do is sit and watch the bad times go past and watch the good roll in.
as every game goes by we are heading in the right direction! im sure if we had players in our midfield like obree and burns and licuria feeding the likes of Murphy Gibbs and so forth would find it easy to be an outside midfielder the fact is we don't have any middle aged senior players who lead from the front, we need 25 and 26 year olds who are strong and can throw there weight around.
