*MY* Crazy West Coast Dream

Ok, lets start from the top.

The 2007 AFL Grand Final is at the SCG for some unGodly reason. Me and 2 mates arrive at the front gates ready to see the eagles play Port. My mates have become Port fans just to spite me.

We get to the front gate, only to be refused entry. Apparantly you cant wear Ugg boots in. We all quickly hop in some random car, GTA style, and floor it back to my place. In the car we hear that the eagles go up by 6 goals at qtr time.

I change shoes, and shirt for some reason, and get back in the car. SOMEHOW we get horribly lost. We end up outside the MCG when I realise its at the SCG. The radio announcer tells us that Port have come back for it to be level at half time.

I'm in a terrible mood, and am swearing at just about everyone. We finally end up outside the SCG and hear a huge eagles chant go up.

I'm just about ready to go in, when a soccer ball rolling down a hill distracts me. I decide to chase it. And chase. And chase it. I was constantly falling over, and was having great difficulty running.

I finally got the balla and headed back to the ground. I went in and sat at the top of the SCG's new stand, which was about 100 metres tall. I cant even see the big screen I'm that far away. As soon as I sit down the whole place goes silent. Then erupts with a huge cheer.

I sulk in my lap, for some reason I assumed it was Port who had just won. Until my mate tells me the eagles had just won by a point. Again. I jump and scream and celebrate, until I fall off the top of the grandstand.

Then I woke up.

Your not alone, I have had some very strange dreams and I mean strange but they are always good for laughs (sometimes). Have had a dream where all my bones broke only to wake up and find I had fallen out of the top bunk, and have even had one about an evil blue toy horse that tried to kill me and worst was a recurring dream a few years ago where I had my throat slit (made me paranoid and had to have the bed covers over my throat). Sounds like one of mine (especially being inexplicably at the SCG and missing most of the game for irrelevant reasons).

Usually in a dream like this it follows a very similar pattern but with a few other bizarre things and usually I miss the game (or one of my own!)

That reminds me, I once had a strange dream involving RoJo where he, Lynch, Hansen, Kerr and Waters started up a boy band and me and my friend went to one of their concerts and they were singing the Pussycat Dolls "Don't Cha" and RoJo was the main singer http://www.aflonline.com.au/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif very funny indead.

On the dreams issue I was playing through the middle at WC, saw Juddy burst by, I tried to handball but was tackled from behind by an unknown and got caught HTB!! :o

Much like real life come to think of it but D grade down at Baysie of course! :p

God dam had a terrible dream last night that I just have to tell, was on the computer watching the live scores of the Eagles playing the Saints at Subi and it was very tight up to half time and for some reason I went to bed. Woke up and was watching Sunrise to see the results (coz I didnt wont to watch the game) and the little scrolling news on the bottom had only stuff about the game like 'Eagles lose 5 in a row!' 'Eagles stuffed' 'Crushed' 'Murdered' and so on the final score was like:
Eagles: 133 points

Went on the computer looking at the sports news and it was on about how the Collingwood (yes the team changed) flogged us by 900 points the 'biggest ever margin' then I was watching the news and it was showing the Saints (the confusing part of ever changing team) throwing themselves at each other when they won by 3000 points. A very confusing dream but thing that stood out was the flogging that the Eagles exerienced. Hope it doesnt come true this weekend (esp the margins!http://www.aflonline.com.au/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif )
