johns is a legend, i dont care what any of you say!
could you please tell me a specific moment, or better yet find a youtube clip where he has done... i don't know... something! I stand by my above comment, the fremantle purple truly compliments his soft side.
I think he'd look great in a freo guernsey. The purple and green would really show his softer side.

Oh, i'm loving Ibboston at the moment. I would consider taking him before Palmer.
I know i haven't been the nicest person to CJ but i did feel for him after seeing him do his knee.
Hopefully he will have more luck in what he does next in life.

Hes has always promised a lot & been given a few chances now and hasnt really shown much at all. Is very injury prone and when he has been on the park hasnt shown enough to warrant another contract let alone hold his spot in the senior side.
May still have a little currency so if we can trade him now then it might be the best for all parties involved IMO

I'll admit I haven't really followed Johns for a while, but was his fall from grace partly due to the Essendon coaching staff?
I remember back in 2006 he showed a fair bit of promise as a KF, yet this year they tried to play him at CHB? WTF?
TBH if he was fit I'd give him a shot at Melbourne.

TBH if he was fit I'd give him a shot at Melbourne.
I think he was trialled at CHB because we can't fit him into our forward line. Sure with Neagle and Lucas out this week he prob would be a suitable inclusion but next year we will have Lloyd, Lucas, Neagle, Gumbleton and possibly the resting ruckman up forward (providing fitness). I think if he is going to stay with us he needs to prove he can become a defender because that is where we needs strong bodies the most at the moment.

Johns showed promise but alot of players show promise. He isn't good enough and never will be. He didn't have enough mobility up forward so we tried to turn him into a full-back ala Dan Merret from Brisbane. That didn't work either. He's finished.
