Absolute classic.............Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a half century, all the Roadrunner clips, and Marvin the Martian. So many good ones among them!

Where did you get it from???
I am so missing the old Warner Bros Cartoons. The last time I saw one was 'Duck Dodgers in the 24th and half century'. It was the curtain raiser for a screening of Revenge of the Sith.
By god it was lucky they showed it too, I'd have asked for my money back with the tripe that was served up in the feature. Thank god for the duck.

i think you can also buy the golden collection of these cartoons from any video store. so far theres been 6 volumes released and a new one to be released in october. havent bought any yet but already have read comments about it and its quite impressive. that scene mentioned earlier is one of the greatest moments on tv. that whole cartoon is hilarious and was way ahead of its time.

i used to love it when sophie lee presented the cartoons on nine in the late afternoons. i was a teenager doing an apprenticeship and would try to get home from the city quickly so i could watch her, and the cartoons.

Love the classic looney tunes classics.
Brought this movie today, $10 at JB. Along with 1001 Rabbit Tales.
Boomerang is an excellent cartoon channel.
God I wish Sylvester caught and ate Tweety Bird.

Have friend's who called their kid Henry which always reminds me of the cartoon with the 3 bears. The one where the father is a real angry small bear and the son is a massive big dopey thing who keeps fu<king up and the mother keeps saying in a winey voice "but Henry...." while the old man is doing his nana.

I also loved Sam Sheepdog and Ralph Wolf. 'Morning Ralph", "Morning Sam".
Clock in, punch on all day then clock out and be best mates. Classic concept.

I used to watch these around the time Catriona Rowntree used to host Whats Up Doc back in the mid-90s. I probably didn't appreciate the comedy as much back then as an 8 year old, but reading back some of the quotes you realise what genius was involved. :thumbsu:
