Any chance we could win one of these games?
The melbourne/ Carlton game is a worry cause I'm not going to lie if we have lost all these matches and we have the choice of winning against melbourne or losing and getting those picks sorry to everyone who think this is bullshit, but lets get real, we need this pick and if we have one a game before then GREAT, but if we end up beating melbourne and losing those picks I will be bloody pissed off and to anyone who thinks that is wrong, take a look at the reality one more game isn't going to do quat! lets see what happens yet,
but hopefully people realise that if we haven't won up to melbourne we don't want to win this, I hope people don't get on their high horse and start saying winning is everythng because in this game ITS NOT

To be honest..
We are in a bit of strife. A few more trouncings could come before 2007 is over.
But reality is we should have beaten Melbourne in Rnd 14 and we should beat them in Rnd 22 which would put us on 6. Plus maybe an upset to either Kang or Ess and 7 wins for the year would of been a plus year for me but the loss to Melbourne 2 weeks ago has started the ever growing snowball effect.
But yes I agree if we are sitting on 4-17 after 21 rounds we need to bring in McLaren, Teague & Ackland and drop Fev for another "disciplinary reason"
LOL just kidding but if we were 4-17 I would like picks 1, 4 & 22
It's a danger, for the media, AFL and everybody would be completely on to it that we'd be tanking!
The TAB, tipsters etc would have a field day, in fact you'd ban bets to the game as all Carlton players ;) ;) ;) and all Melbourne players would put tips on Melbourne to win.
It would be so farcical if a "loss" is made that obvious the AFL and Lord Demitriou would probably step in and bar us from the 1st and 2nd round of the drafts for pre-draft tampering (ie tanking).

Theres a few very winable games there. We have the skill to beat Brisbane this weekend, Essendon we bet them once, why not again, Collingwood (a bit of a long shot but anything can happen between these two), and Melbourne.

Melbourne might not want to win either - might be the first ever AFL Nil all draw.
Pfft, all are winnable - the players just need to believe that they can do it. Look what happened with Brisbane against West Coast at Subi. Confidence is a powerful thing.
We're always a chance against Essendon and Collingwood, the players seem to lift for those games. The Melbourne one is obvious, and I don't think we'll manage to beat the rest but I hope the players don't think that.
id rather beat collingwood instead of getting the picks..who cares if we dont get 2 in the top 5...we'll still get pick 2 or 3..

Nah, though it'll have the most ever rushed behinds scored.
Hopefully we win against the Lions and shut up all this talk about PP and tanking.

We won`t win any of them...........because we are a bunch of girls,my friend.......someone else is controling our club..........If we want we can beat Mel,Bris,St.Kilda and pissibly Ess or Coll just because of rivaly..but we won`t.........unfortunately......we are looking for some stupid number 1 draft pick.big deal........we don`t even know the guy.........he has never played a AFL game before...so who cares........people will say..ah in the long run.....long run my arse............

Round 22 looming as the PP cup.
Whoever wins may lose their PP (if Dees sneak a win prior to then).
