I'm sick of this. I've waited and watched and hoped to see this evolution of players, but this is a farce.

Previous weeks aside, how can we be so competitive for the first 30 minutes (and by that I mean we owned them all over the ground), and then disappear off the radar - again. No effort was made to haul in the Swans midfield. It was the same as the Hawks game - we went on our merry way following a failed gameplan.

The coaching staff are treating us, then fans, with contempt. How can a coaches box with names like Ratten, Libba and Bradley be so far off the mark?

Another 130+ points scored against us is a disgrace. We scored enough to win the game (100 points vs the Swans should be!!), but the gameplan was all wrong.

Like i have said on many occasions,we have a lack of character and our list is poor.We are in real trouble and we need a coach to come in with, i hate to say it a 5 year plan because that's how far away we are.Our topliners just don't measure up against the competions elite, we are just battlers. Our ruck stocks are a joke our backline is worse and we have no run and carry and i won't even talk about our decision making. The 0ne thing we do. need to overhaul is our recruiting department because there decision making is a joke to.Also we can't keep blaming the players because it wasn't their choice to join the club, they are doing there best.At the end of the day most of them are just not up to it,and it hurt's like hell to say it. But it is true.

I don't buy this "List is poor" thing. In a 2 horse race you shouldn't be losing by 10+ goals repeatedly.

The Hawks game for example - 11 goals down at 3/4 time and Ratten is interviewed heading to the bench saying "We'll play our game and see if we can turn it around". Guess what - 3-figure loss.

The current coaching crew lack imagination and adaptability, and they are potentially ruining the lives of some young stars. I saw a few incidences the other day where hard, tough footy was called for, instead we saw Blues players avoid heavy contact and conceded goals as a direct result.

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but I don't lurk BigFooty often enough to participate every time it comes up. Nothing in the current style of play does anything to convince me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Take this for example - Fevola should have been in the centre of the SCG the other day, instead of the goal-square. A mark in the centre, a handball to Fev and a kick on the run and he should have been bombing away from almost the centre of the ground. Keeping him deep in attack doesn't show they are thinking about the situation, choked up and unable to provide good leads.

I believe with another draft and better development of our youngsters in 2008-09 we will be ready in 2010 for a top 4 finish. Ofcourse a new coach to guide us through.
It won't be 5 years. Our list is not as bad as some think. All it lacks is direction and some good onfield leadership. Let's not forget we have only participated properly in the last two drafts.

So how many first round picks do you need to become an elite club? What rubbish - there is nohing wrong with the list and our kids are amongst the best in the land. The problem is the coaching and development team - whilst every other side is playing and devloping kids (read Filth here) Pagan gives lads like Grigg, Hartlett, Bower, etc. shitty amounts of game time and drops them after mistakes.

He does not have the capability to coach a young group of developing players and is continually outcoached week in week out. Prime example - we cop 130+ points most weeks and he continually does not react. I am in no way advocating flooding tactics (beause I hate them) but you need to alternate srategies every now and then.....he is a shit coach and should be sacked immediately.
