So Marc is going to leave the Blues, to a club that doesn't have a home. Good luck with that.

Expect Marc to sign a huge 3 year contract before the end of the year.

To still "support" his previous club is huge.

Where?

The list of kids with elite talent who have shown anything goes no further than Wells, Smith and McIntosh. A team with Watt, Firrito, Green, Edwards and Rawlings in their best 22 isn't going to challenge the likes of Hawthorn for the flag in the next six years.

Players such as Archer, Harvey, Simpson are ageing and irreplaceable.

Fair enough. As I already said, your board... do as you please. I don't care.

But a word of advice: once you come on our board, you're fair game. I personally don't see any problem with some light hearted ribbing but then again I'm not a mod anymore, and there are rules in place. What the mods view as disrespectful or unacceptable is up to them in the end - don't piss them off and you'll be fine.

BTW, opposition supporters "taking the piss" too far is a death sentence here. When they mean zero tolerance, they mean it. ;)

Ask CrazyQ how Trotter and Harding are going.

Collingwood's group of kids isn't any better than Carlton's, but they are surrounded by better players and well coached because they have a great development team in pace. Greg Swann is setting up a similar development academy for Carlton as we speak.

It's a bit rich to have a Kangaroos supporter come on here and claim their kids are better than ours when Petrie is their best forward. Josh Kennedy showed more in his first year than Lachlan Hansen and he didn't even have a full pre-season because he was recovering from shoulder surgery. Kennedy beat the highly rated Hansen when they played on each other in the VFL this year, so the Roos have a look to look forward to when Grant, Sinclair, Simpson, Harvey and Archer retire in the next two years. ,)

We'll just add Kreuzer and Morton to our list and live with it somehow.

Lol Kennedy is a tweaner ruckman with poor agility. He had about 35 kg's of puppy fat on Hanen, il take Hansen thanks.

Oh going on your philosophy, Scott McMahon has shown far more than bryce gibbs, therefore will be a far better player (which he probably will to be honest.) :)

Meh you can add Kruezer, we already have a young AA ruckman.

Carlton supporters preach about how the salary cap breach cost them, well the Roo's lost two years of first round picks with the Thompson and Hay deals, yet they have far better young players, and are 3rd on the ladder.

Poor drafting has cost Carlton. :o

Is Kennedy a ruckman?

Please watch some footy and get a clue before you post nonsense like that.

You can have Hansen because your list isn't that great and you'll need him to paper over the cracks on your list in five years.
Oh going on your philosophy, Scott McMahon has shown far more than bryce gibbs, therefore will be a far better player (which he probably will to be honest.) :)
Right, put him on your little clubs webpage as the face of your club. :D

McMahon is more likely to join Raph Clarke, Sporn and Richie Cole as players who have won a Rising Star nomination and not gone on with it. Just like Brad Moran who has hardly played a game this year.
Meh you can add Kruezer, we already have a young AA ruckman.
Wow!

Now just need to find a few class youngsters for Hamish to hit the ball to when Harvey, Sinclair, Grant and Simpson give the game away sooner rather than later. Swallow isn't a class midfielder like Murphy, Selwood, Gibbs, Pendlebury etc. and your list of kids isn't one a Voss would want to coach.
Carlton supporters preach about how the salary cap breach cost them, well the Roo's lost two years of first round picks with the Thompson and Hay deals, yet they have far better young players, and are 3rd on the ladder.
The decision to trade for those two veterans will hit the Roos over the next five years.

Not now.
Poor drafting has cost Carlton. :o
But North are just poor and your drafting is worse than ours.

Who are these kids that you drafted that are talented enough to win a flag against the likes of WCE, Hawthorn and Collingwood?

North threw away two top 20 picks to draft McConnell and Trotter and they've played just the two games between them in 2007. That decision will come back to hurt you just like Laidley's decision to recruit Hay and Thompson to the club.

Those three trades are probably one of the reasons why North haven't offered Laidley another contract.

I'll pick you up on two points here champ.

Firstly - Kennedy is no ruckman. He is only there becuase our other ruckman are either injured (Cloke), out of form (Ackland & McLaren) or not ready (Jacobs, Hampson & Aisake).

Secondly - JK ripped Hanson a new one in the Reserves a few weeks back out at Preston, and before you start, I saw it first hand. Hanson looked dis-interested, and was almost going through the motions.
