Whats this talk about him being injured? I understand he has had concussion, but news on the groin? Why doesnt he play more time on ground, the concussion cant be still there. I know he had a knock to the head aswell, but he isnt the same bartel as the early 2007 bartel?

Just recapturing the form
Any idea why Bartel started at Half forward? 4th quarter was his best but still below average for Jimmy this year.
Jimmy needed 12 stiches above the left eye from Dasher's knee in the 1st 1/4.:(

Sure did - then came back out in the second half and played very well.
Guys is unstoppable this year.
Remember the now infamous quote - "this year we are going to be doing the intimidating"........I love it.

Concussion can take a few weeks to get properly over, wasn't there some joker got concussed ealy in the season and had three weeks out?

Luke Ball was they guy but it was not effecting his ability to play. It is the risk of getting another knock while he has brain swelling that kept Ball out.

Hasn't been playing much in the centre-square/on the ball of late, especially in the 1st half of games. But when he has had his run on the ball he's still been good.

Bartel has played awesome tonight. Looks to have shaken of his concussion and back to his earlier form.
