Could it happen in Australia? I would love to see the Camry Crow as mayor of Adelaide!!!

Better question is how is something able to be elected when it is ineligable to vote

I'd vote for a monkey, I'm sure it would have better policies than any of the major parties:p

It's great that the "Monkeyhangers" voted for thier football club mascot, couldn't be any worse than the baboons we usually have to vote for.

Hartlepool's Mayor (in the early 19th century) did order the hanging of a monkey dressed in a French Millitary uniform, because they thouhgt that it was a spy for Napoleon:D .
