I like the fact that Warnock is back in and so is Drummy! (big fan) but missing Sandilands is a worry. Other than that I am fairly happy cause Schammer does need more time in the magoos./

hmm, shame that sandi is out he would he cleaned up Hudson for sure....good too see Duffield and Drum in the team, Black forward pocket? I agree with Walker out, didn't get to watch too much of the game last week, was schammer that bad? I heard he did somethin really silly that Josh blasted him for, other than that not that sure?

Schammer's skills in last quarter were very ordinary....he's still got alot of football growing up to do.

I reckon Cookie will play

That's a pretty reasonable team, actually. Duffield and Drum finally get their chance, as does Warnock again. I'm not happy to see Matt Carr back though.:thumbsd:

Gilmore would want to play well. He was OK against the Roos, I thought. Not as much of a liability as usual.

You'd think without Farmer that team will struggle to kick a winning score, though.

Ok quick one, what has Drum done to deserve his spot??

And who picked the side, Rick Hart? Whose coaching the team this week FFS?

I think Drum and Black in the forward line is good. If we get enough supply then we'll kick a winning score alright, but the midfield once again is the big query.

Whats wrong with Sandilands? Was he injured last week in the game or during week at training?

How serious is Sandi's injury???

He's effectively replaced Murphy as the third tall forward. Who else would you suggest fill this void?

With Adelaides lack of height this week I reckon this could be the making of Drum and I hope it is! Especially as I hear he can play wing pretty effectively (Goodes style I assume)

This will test the theory of CC playing favourites.

Was last weekend Walkers last AFL game??

Personally I hope so!

So who is gonna make the decisions on who plays where this week? Please tell me its not Robert Shaw.

Mundy.
So Drum plays down back in place of Mundy?

Either there or in the middle. We have Dodd, Grover, McPharlin, Black, Hayden down back already so its not like we need another medium sized player down there like Mundy or Drum.

:D

Who knows who has picked the team? Maybe Harvey (but he's too busy mulling over his future), or maybe Shaw? Peter German?

You're GAWN Walker, or 'Uncle Fester' as some rather unkind people in block 317 have been calling him. :p

Mundy.

Drum >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mundy.

Drum and Mundy are future stars and like all KP type players, they take longer to develop than midfielders.

Does anyone think that it's a bit more than a coincidence that CC goes and Drum gets his first game for the season?

Spare us the theories. If you read the WAFL form thread at the top of the page you would know that Drummie finally found a bit of form last weekend.

C: M. Carr, J. Carr, Johnson

HF: Solomon, Pavlich, Crowley

F: Drum, Tarrant, Black

Emerg: Cook, Haddrill, Schammer
Team Changes
In: Warnock, Duffield, Drum, M. Carr
Out: Sandilands (inj.), Murphy (susp.) Schammer, Walker

The names highlighted are probably the most interesting inclusions/positions.

I like that headland has been put on the ball, he's fast and big bodied, plus when he's in the mood one of our most dangerous players.

Haddrill is an interesting inclusion, all be it as an emergency, from all reports it didnt sound like he was tearing up the WAFL.

Cook is another interesting one, hadnt expected to see his name for the remainder of the year. If my memory is any good (which it isnt) he played pretty good against adelaide earlier in the year though.

Black in the forward pocket is a bit strange, definately dont doubt his kicking ability, thought his run/kicking out of defence would be much more useful though.

All in all though pretty happy with the team, should match up pretty well with adelaide.

.

Full backs generally dont tear up any league.

He's been playing forward lately. And AFAIK he was playing CHB before that, not FB.

Haddrill as an emergency is an excellent sign. :thumbsu:

Why is it excellent.....it looks to me like we're scrappin the bottom of the barrel. Haddrill hasn't had a kick all year at Perth & has been tried out as a forward as well, with no success.

If he's an emergency ahead of Ibbo, Foster, Collard, O'Brien...it's a joke.

It wasn't a theory, it was a sincere question based on fact.

Get over it.

I think all the shenanigans of this week are getting to you.
