One of the things I have noticed with the cats this year is that they score many of their goals in the last 2-3 minutes of a quarter. Our extra fitness is definitely an asset to us in the closing minutes of a 1/4 and extra work has obviously been done during the offseason on maintaining their intensity and drawing on their reserve tanks.

I think it is an absolute mockery of the comp with respect to us scoring more in the red time. I think from stats we are miles ahead of the nearest red-time team.

You're not wrong. I know 4 or 5 weeks ago we were +220 odd in red time, next closest was 50ish. I can only imagine it would have improved.

also I think it is a credit to the way we play the whole quarter. It could be that opposition teams take the pedal off in the last 3 minutes or try to contain us rather than attack. That gives us a chance to push over them a get a few late goals.
