Credit where its due. He did a very good job today as commentator. For someone who does get bagged, including by me, he was very good. He even sounded like he was sticking up for Freo.
Well done Jako, you can commentate on us any time !!

Jako lays in the boots most of the time like the other noobs..
He wasnt very polite to CC on the footy show as well...
Though I have to say my old man called me and actually said that Jako was very postive for Freo in his call... or at least not overtly negative, like the crap we usually cop...
Even Tony Shaw was positive.... geezzz

Slappo's a tool.
Liam Pickering is pretty good, although you don't know if he is praising a player because he is playing well or because he is one of the players that he manages.
The guy who does the NBL (John Casey?) has been calling games this season and covered our game today, he is bloody hopeless!

Unbelievably disrespectful to the audience to have a commentator who is losing his voice calling the game.
Not particularly directed at Jakovich, but they badly need someone who can give insight into startegy and tactics on their panel.

Spot on. I don't mind the play-by-play by Casey, but Slappo desperately lacks in tactical commentary, Pickering is ok dont mind him.
Slappo is such a tool, blockhead <insert blunt instrument here> head.

After listening to Peter Wilson, any improvement is welcome.
I thought old "Cement Head" did quite well today, but then hey that's just my view .....

I struggled to put up with Casey and his voice today. It was dreadful the entire 4 quarters.
I thought Jako was the best commentator on there today but that wouldn't have been hard. That commentary was absolutely disgraceful, the worst I think I have ever heard. After half time I couldn't handle it any longer and I listened to the rest of the game on the abc. Ten = Pathetic.

But I was listening to the ABC coverage of the game. One of the commentators on there said they spoke to some "Freo people" who were "close to the club" at half time, that said that our performace was a disgrace. Guess who those "Freo people" were?

Were they referring to Freo's performance in the first half of the Adelaide game ?, or were they referring to Freo's season overall ?.
ABC people have been warned about taking any credence from anything coming out of "Grumbles" Hardie's mouth.
