Keep playing the young blokes...
Hille, Forster-Knight, Jacobs, Rama and now harvey have all been good!!
keep playing the young blokes...
Heffernan has been tried and hasd done nothing
Blumfield has been out of form for the past 2 seasons
Rioli is so far out of form (and fat) it's not funny
There are a lot of blokes at Essendon who think they can walk up and get a game...
the coaching staff should make an example of these players and drop them... will get them out of their false sense of security
Keep playing the young blokes..they will put in!!!!
Chris Heffernan has been a very servicible player for the Essendon football club. He is not the sort of player we want out of the side. Last year his season was ruined by injury, the year before he played a top season. 2002 he's put in some good performances v Geelong, Adelaide and Collingwood - i mentioned in a post previous the guy was listed in our best in the wet on ANZAC day. Generally he's hard at the ball, a good tackler, strong overhead. Infact the guy's a champion. Leave him alone. What's he done to you? Did he steal your cat? If he did I totally understand. I hate people that steal cats, they are the lowest scum on earth. Taking a man's cat is like taking a man's beer (well obviously not that bad, but you get the picture). So unless Chris is a cat burgular, leave him be.....
Chris Heffernan, Daniel McAllister and Justin Blumfield (3,2,1 v Carlton this week!)

LOL!:p
I must agree, I think Heff is important to us. Has a great way of getting under peoples skin. He's been good (not great yet) this year, and last year was a writeoff due to injury, so it's a bit early to be calling for his head.
I do think that he & Blummers need to step up a bit more though. they've both been serviceable, but nowhere near their best (yet).
Give it time. Our forward line (scoring) problems are more of a worry at this stage. Lloyd can't kick the entire score himself every week, especially with two or three opponents.
