Info is pretty light on as is the case when both Eagles and Freo play on Saturdays. Anyway

Matthew Spangher - I absolutely love the look of this kid and hes making all the right sounds. Seen him play a few times this season and he just has the footy smarts to back up his incredible athletisim. Sign him up now. Another BOG performance for Easts. Blanketed his opponent and provided alot of drive out of defence with 20+ disposals (24 I think).

Chad Jones - 4 goals in a pretty good performance. He has this uncanny knack of getting goals late on. Id love to know how many he gets in last qtrs. Another 3 in the last qtr and kind of played second fiddle to Anthony Jones for a change. Was very inaccuate. No idea how many behinds. Think about 5 or 6

Llane Spaanderman - Badly injured his knee. No news yet. Almost certain to be out for the season. May need a full knee reco. All the best Spaanders.

Sam Butler - VERY VERY good return.I listened on the radio and he sounded very prominent. Named in Perths bests. 22 dipsoals he ended up with in a little under 3 qtrs of footy. Stil 3 weeks away realistically. I listened to the whole game on radio at work and it sounded as if his disposal was crisp as always which is great news.

Steven Armstrong - Had the ball on a string as usual but butchered it a bit as ususal. Plays in the midfield in the WAFL. Needs to spend more time up forward. You cant fault the boy. He tries bloody hard in the WAFL.34 possessions in the end

Jamie McNamara - Did a tagging job and is being groomed for that role more and more as the weeks go on.

Ben McKinley - No idea if he played or not. Will find out tomorrow I guess

Eric McKenzie - Wasnt named and didnt play it seems. Kept as backup for Staker.

Ashley Sampi still hasnt been found yet. Goodbye. Mitch Brown is ruled as indefinite now in terms of his groin injury. His year is over. Dont know if Houlihan played WAFL this week either.

Great news.

Can't wait for him to get back to his form of late last year.

Yeh just realised that. 4 goals 7... Hmm. Normally hes a good kick on goal. Hes now a fully fledged Eagle though with 7 behinds.

I thought the way he trained he would actually be kept in the team this week, he was that good! Bad luck, hope he is up and about quickly.

Great news about Butler. Hes just so classy and smooth i cant wait for him to get some match fitness and break into our side. Its funny how one week can change your outlook on the season.
