Are these any good? What do you really get for your money and does the money go to the club or does it line Ian Collins' pockets?

anyone?

seems like a bit of a rip off to me but the missus is keen after getting a big tax refund. i'd rather save the cash for a testimonial dinner or something.

I think they only do it once a year and they havnt done it many times so I doubt you will find someone here whose done it. A bit of advice though. Dont get in the way of a women and her money. Let her spend it how she wants. Then you get no complaints ;)

$210 for 2.5-3 hours real drinking time.

Doesn't sound worth it to me, unless they are handing out complimentary magnums of moet and chandon and penfolds grange hermitage.

Hawkeye and Mags have been to a few of the functions here in Melbourne, not sure if they have been to this particular one but they might be the best ones to ask.
