Mate, we'll be 5th after today.
With a tougher run home than the teams who are above us.
A good win last night but means nothing if we cant beat a slightly undermanned doggies next Friday night.

Pretty much. Eagles can only get better. We might not even make the GrandFinal Just yet though we should. We will probably reach 2nd at years end. Judd will get fitter, Ben will get back into the game a bit more( barely looked out of it :D ), and once our midfield starts firing properly we should be set.
We need a decent forward setup though. And to drop Rowan Jones.!!!

This is a ridiculous thread. Why don't you wait to see if we make the finals first and then wait to see if we get to the Grand Final and then bring this up. I hate it when people make our team and supporters look cocky.

Agree - we won by 2 goals with no Hall or Kennelly and beat Adelaide who are really down ATM.
Only if we make top 4 can we talk about Grand FInals.

I hope some of the other teams up there (eg Roos, Hawks, Collingwood) stay thereabouts (i.e. 3rd-6th with us finishing 2nd) because they will be no real threat come finals time, and teams like Sydney finish as low as possible as they are the ones who actually have a chance in finals.

I can't see us losing again this year, we should win the Grand Final by at least 10 goals.

Ah yes you are so right its so unbelievable, we will win the GF so easily this year it wont be funny, the likes of Geelong, Kangas, Collingwood and co that are in the 8 esp the top 4 are the biggest pretenders ever and should give up now as they are only making up the numbers and they know whos going to win this year. I believe if we field our best side on grand final day we will win comfortably (besides if we play sydney) because the other teams all didn't even play finals last year (top 4 that is) so in the big game we should have them covered.
However this doesn't mean we're going to make it that far.
