We dont need a coach to sell the club. We need a coach capable of winning games, and developing players, which terry clearly is not.
Freo seem to like trading away their good players, and picking up duds, and there is a position vaccant there. Might same some money on solariums with the aid of the perth sun too. Perfect club/coach match!

Don't blame the coach, don't blame the umpires blame those that pull on the Richmond jumper because they are where the blame should be aimed. Wallace can give them instructions but when they continually get the ball in the middle of the ground and freeze like a deer in the headlights and panic, you can't blame Wallace. It is not just the kids that do it but senior players with near 10 years in the system that continually make mind baffling decisions.
I lost count of how many times players would handball to a teammate only to find that bloke had a Port player up his clacker ready to tackle him. I lost count how many times players would kick the ball to a 2-1 contest in our forward line while another of their teammates was in space in another part of the F50.
Terrible performance for Richo's 250th. Handballs under pressure, terrible delivery to the forwards, not moving the play on quickly enough (Tivendale, Johnson) and simply no heart. Same sh1t different week I'm afraid.
Edwardes is a gun though. :thumbsu:
Congrats Richo on the 250th though. Shame it was another dark day for the club.

wallace only got one trick, he should have made a lot of changes and slowed it down once port flooded. having riewoldt, schultz and richo in the forward is a recipe for disaster. riewoldt and schultz seem to fly against richo too many times, instead of leading and giving one another space.

if we don't blame the coach who the f..k is responsible for leaving peter burgoyne loose man in defence for most of the game.he is their best ball winner and he refused to man him up.
raines's confidence is shot, but it is the same mistakes week after week

I didn't think Raines was too bad. He spent more time in the midfield and had a few runs but ****ed it up with his kicking.
What happend to Raines of 2006?

Raines of 2006 is def not a down grade of Raines 2007. Its just seems it is because Raines of 2006 came with no expectation. Think Tuck of 2005 and Tuck of 2006.
Btw, Raines was woeful today. Probably had 10 goals kicked against him aswell. He wasn't the only one though, King and Newman were also very average. Just because they all pick up 20+ touches it doesn't mean they have a good game when there oppenents kick 12 or so between them

Out: Terry Wallace
In: Chris Bond
Chris Bond has been assistant coach at the Doggies for at least 5 years, he is a ready made senior coach. He will definitely have a senior job next year.

Yeah, whatever makes you sleep better at night! But deep down you know you are stuck with the Wallet and two more years of rubbish and spin, good luck with that!

I'm starting to warm to this too. If we are in a similar position this time next year...
