What is it? 25k against the Power last time in Richo's milestone game. 22k this time? Bloody pathetic if you ask me. Good to see the 'Thundersticks' and signs though... at least they had something. It wasn't promoted too well, I didnt think.
No excuses. Was nice and sunny today. Bit windy at the ground so it mae it fresh but come on.
Pretty hard for many fans to go considering that we are last with 1 win, I think 22k is pretty good, Port don't get many down here so you would have thought there would have been about 20k worth of Tiger fans.

So your saying that 2/3rd's of our Membership base (not even supporter base) can go to see a match at the 'G on a sunny day in Richo's 250th game?
Its not good enough. It was saddening actually.

It was saddening, although I loved sitting in the cheer squad today. I nearly teared up when the crowd was chanting Richo as he came down our end.

Well considering that most kids footy is played on Sunday's(We have plenty of young Tiger fans), and also that we have almost 10,000 unticketed Members, adding again to the fact we are bottom of the ladder with 1 win out of what is now 16 games, I can only expect as much.
Plus 250 wont seem as big when he is at 300 and The Tiges actually start playing well.

There was only 20,000 at Richo's 200th game. Richo deserved 40,000 today. Too many softies couldn't handle sub 15 degree temperatures

In 1999 a struggling Collingwood got 17,000 against the Weagles. Recent Carlton homers V inter states have been 16,000.
22.000 against the weakest draw in the league is huge for a spoon team.

Ok, well perhaps I have high expectations for us. I was expecting 30k with around 27k AT LEAST.
I thought Richmond supporters as a whole (I know most BigFooty supporters go and I know how passionate 'they' are), were better than that win lose or draw.
This is a modern day champion of the Richmond Football Club. A champion that plays and is a supporter aswell. I, personally, have got to say that I was disappointed.

Point taken but in exactly the same circs last year Carlton were getting 16,000. We have to be realistic. We are 1 win for the season and the season is totally dead as it has been for months. Our absolute core support is thousands bigger than carltons for instance who are lazily thought by many to outnumber us.
our absolute core support is rock solid.

So you wouldnt worry about turning up even though a champion of your 'beloved' is playing a milestone game?

Face the facts fool....thats about it for the numbers that rock up to a shit side that cant win and is on the bottom with 1 1/2 wins... Or did you expect everyome to say, oh lets go its richos 250th and the shit side that is shit is going to all of a sudden turn into non shit, because of it? man....do you posses half a brain at least? You blame the crowd for not coming to see a side that loses every week? How the **** did you work that one out fool? ;)
disgraceful this club has treated its champions poorly for years and the supporters have shown they are as pathetic as the club

it was like a sprinkling today wasnt it?.
When we go there I thought that there was some daylight saving thing I missed as it felt we were an hour to early.
Tiger supporters can still provide some voice though that belies numbers in the crowd.
I dont blame alot of you for not showing up.
Going to games is more something that I cant stop as opposed to something that has really earned the amount of time I spend watching Richmond play.
Did anyone notice that the crowd talk about Wallace is becoming Frawley like?
Havent noticed this before but it was pretty bad today where I was sitting. Maybe Richmond fans are a bit more honest without opposition fans around.
It was saddening, although I loved sitting in the cheer squad today. I nearly teared up when the crowd was chanting Richo as he came down our end.
I teared up when i saw his video come on, and also when he got his first goal, the cheers were deafening and the look on his face knowing the team were showing no heart for his 250th was very sad. He barely even celebrated and and only 2-3 players come up one of whom was Edwards.
Very very sad day.
I stood in the Grog Squad and chanted my lungs out.
My missus texted me halfway through the 3rd quarter and asked the score. I texted her back and said something along the lines of 'I love this club too much. I wish I could stop.' Rip your heart every time.
